  1. I've used Polygon to cover some area for MWIII - and all games thus far have said "couldn't ping server" - so haven'\t been able to see any info for the I'm on. Is this a bug or? Filter mode is on by default and i've left it on. EDIT: Has randomly started working now! .
  2. Woop! Improbably should have given it 12h/overnight before making a post - I can be quick to waffle on sometimes haha! I did do quit a few tests within the hours of setting it up tho so was wondering. Glad its all good now! And yep, thats fine. Looking forward to getting stuck in with it
  3. I tried speedtest on phone connected to R3 via WiFi and got full speeds! whereas before, WiFI only gave around 50% of my download. So, tried again on Macbook, and got full speeds! Maybe it just needed a warm up. I'll monitor it and do a few more tests over the weekend to see if it keeps on hitting the full speeds or dips back down to less than 50%. Great to see the R3 WiFi speeds matching up with the Wired speeds tho! That's great EDIT: If you do recommend me trying to run the wall socket to R3 let me know and ill give it a go.
  4. ISP router LAN goes to R3 WAN (blue socket on R3) - I had it this way also with the R2. I tried plugging the cable from the wall socket straight into R3 WAN but it didn't work for me, as there was no connection at all and I couldn't get anything to boot. I did ask here about how i had it all set up nd think it was you, that said that it was okay that way - but im willing to try and make the R3 the main router/replace the ISP router if i can get it to work that way - so long as the bottom floor of the house get speeds that are good (their PS5 was very laggy when connect to the R2 via WiFi)
  5. Yup, all devices! WiFi - iPhone and Macbook Wired - Xbox All set up the same way I had the R2 set up: Wall socket > WAN of ISP router > LAN R2 < everything connected to R3 via LAN or Wifi. Not sure how to by[ass speed test but its set up in the R3 and shows my correct speeds
  6. When doing speedtests, I remember the R2 giving about roughly 50% of the down speeds of my ISP router (around 200down instead of 500) - which i was told was how the R2 was designed but some reason though I'm getting far less on the R3, unless I have not configured something right? Adding to this, I connected my laptop via ethernet to the R3 and got the same speeds as I did over WiFi. When i connected to the R2 via ethernet from MacBook I got the full speeds of 500 down 70 up.
  7. Brilliant, thanks. Congrats on the launch and good job with all of this, guys! 🙂
  8. Hello Fraser, I hadn't checked in a few days but by that time I have the R3! I wanted to revisit this as i've set up the R3 (looks lovely!!) and wanted to know where the IP for the R3 was? With the R2, t was under WiFi/Network i believe. I'm doing this because I pasted the R2 IP into the DMZ section on my ISP router settings. Of course now i would need to change it to the R3, i imagine? Cheers! UI for DumoOS4 looks so nice!
  9. Tried this morning and its sill down. I'm unsure as to what to do. I cannot get any connection with the R2 nor access DumaOS
  10. This is what it says when trying to use Netduma network - nothing loads on the net. As for setup; Netduma R2 Internet port > LAN of Vodafone router - everything else connected to the R2: xbox via ethernet to R2. this has not happened before - it has literally just randomly stopped working and has not worked all. day (its gone 12am now)
  11. I cannot, no. I can only access the DumaOs/UI when connected to the Netduma router - i cannot access it while connected to my other router. Not sure if that is normal or not.
  12. I did the first time, then the second time I unplugged everything and re-plugged. It still will not connect
  13. I haven't been bale to access the net on laptop, phone, or Xbox all day today while on Netduma R2 - i connected all devices to my Vodafone router and all works though - any reason this could be happening? I've unplugged and replugged a couple times with no luck
  14. I do not believe so, no; only the DMZ/R@ IP into the the old router thing as mentioned.
  15. I'll check if their PS5 is open and let you know! I'm not too sure on even how to do that, thought we spoke before and i did put the Netduma IP/numbers into the DMZ on my Vodafone router. Haven't done it with console tho as im not sure how that works
  16. The ping always shows pretty low, usually below 10ms, that's the odd thing. Doesn't usually fluctuate from what ive seen. And i believe the geo-filter has been on most of the times, i actually turned that off just now to see how it goes for them without it.
  17. After trying this the games are still laggy pretty bad - it is genuinely unplayable for them. Did a speed test on the PS5 and it showed 17.6Mbps down and 5.3 upload if that info is of any help. When they are having these lag issues in game, i am not even on a game myself so they should be getting a good connection right? We did a speedtest while downstairs and the speeds were pretty bad at under 10mbps - odd thing is - when if first did them downstairs on the day i got the Duma - the speed tests where actually much better . I reset the QoS yesterday like you said and left everything connected at 9 each and turned off "game console" under traffic. Any ideas on how this can be fixed? As ideally everything needs to be connected to the Duma doesn't it. Games Console
  18. OK cheers mate - will see how that goes and report back!
  19. Traffic Prioritisation
  20. We've done a test before and you said the resulkts were very good - heres a new one just done now
  21. This is my congestion control if thats any help
  22. Yep, everything is always connected to the R2 - except for the PS downstairs as their connection is pretty awful with it. okay i just reset the QoS distro and everything is on 9 for Up/Dwn. This is what Traffic Controller looms like - empty for some reason.
  23. Brilliant! Would be a very thing to have
  24. I pretty much only have my Xbox (wired to the R2 in same room) and my siblings PS5 (downstairs, 3 floors down over WiFi) connected to the R2 - are these QoS settings looking okay for this? I must note - they have complained that their games are very laggy when connected to the R2, so they have stopped used the Netduma wifi and gone back to the first vodafone router. However, they're trying R2 again today and hopefully it runs well as i want everything on the R2. Upload and downlaod QoS are both same (in image). Also, theyre connected via 2GHz for some reason - wouldnt it be better for them to be connected via 5ghz? If so, how can i get them to connect to the 5ghz. Thanks! EDIT: Since connecting back to the R2, they have said "almost unplayable" - i have seen it in action, and their games really are laggy - much more so than when connected tot he vodafone router (which is upstairs next to the R2)
  25. Is it possible to create lists in the Geo-Filter section? sometimes I like to plau UK, other times I like to play, say, Poland servers. Having to keep drawing around specific places (using ping map to remember where the servers are, then coming back to geo-filter to draw) is a little bit tedious. Would be nice to be able to have a little list of locations i can switch to-and-form
