Not at all. I am more than happy with my R2 and its work Also I did not demand to release it NOW. The question is simple: When can we expect it approx.? Dont get why you start analysing my words and intentions when the question is already stated. And your allegation that I'd call somebody a liar is simply misplaced. Fraser is representing the company and I am not going back and forth with him personally. Netduma has announced the OS4 for the R2 and never gave us an update. Which is just not how a company should present itself. Again: I dont expect it to be released today or tomorrow. Only a brief information whether they aim to bring it our in Q2, Q3 or Q4 or next year or at what state the current development is.

Didn’t expect another answer tbh. Since the R3 sales is still running, I guess the R2 will be “forgotten” until R3 sales stagnates. As a trustworthy company you could at least give us a roadmap, when you are targeting to release the OS for the older products.
-
This is understandable from the developers perspective. However from the customer / consumers perspective, we´d expect it soon enough. As stated, since 12 months no updates for the R2...
-
Last update for the R2 was 12 months ago...

I know you dont give ETAs, but 4 months after R3 release, can you inform the community if its planned to release soon? I dont wanna buy a R3 when my R2 is still working... I bought the R2 and 3 weeks later you released the R3...

Can I get moderate without VPN?
-
Unfortunately strict NAT when connected directly. However it switches to moderate, when I use a VPN... I cant tell how this is possible.
-
I am using a 5G router as my ISP. Is there any way I can get open or moderate NAT?
-
I am based in Italy and I connect to Netherlands and UK all the time... Even the ping is set to "5", I connect to high ping servers like the screenshot shows... Why is that happening?
-
That solved it. What does DPI even do?
-
Yes, fully disabled.
-
Both disabled, router restarted, still cannot connect.

Is there a reason why the Wireguard Protocol of Surfshark not working with the R2? I am not talking about the HybridVPN but the Wireguard Client and Surfshark App on Windows. When I plug the cable to my main router the connection can be established but when I use the R2, I dont have any internet connection. Seems like something is being blocked on the R2... How can I troubleshoot this?
-
If so, you might want to think about adding this missing standard feature. I think a premium router like Netduma should cover this. Thanks for considering it.
-
As I said, even cheaper routers are able to do this since it is a standard vpn feature. For me it seems like Netduma is actively blocking this feature, instead just keeping it "standard". I dont see a reason why you guys would remove that feature. However, I might get back to my GL-SFT1200, where I dont need to care about any additional software or router complications.

He says the configuration used to work but after the update users need to use the ports to make it work.

According to this guy it used to work in DumaOS. Would be great to get back the option to make it work again. 1:50min

Following setup works and does not cap my internet: VPN only these services: UDP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (3074:3074) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (443:443) Wireguard setup: [Interface] Address = 10.14.0.2/16 PrivateKey = YOUR KEY DNS = 162.252.172.57, 149.154.159.92 [Peer] PublicKey = YOUR KEY AllowedIPs = 0.0.0.0/0 Endpoint = kz-ura.prod.surfshark.com:51820 The downside of this setup is that all my traffic is being channeled through the VPN. ____________ When I change the allowed IP to 185.34.0.0/16 (sbmm server) then my internet stops working totally. _____________ A simple and cheap travel router like the GL-SFT1200 does the work greatly. There I just put the configuration above with the SBMM server IP to mask only this IP through the VPN and it the router does the job. Maybe your technicians can look into it.
