O ok where do I find PPPoE in the Xr1000 settings? I don't have a router from the provider I use the xr1000. I can't find a way to long into the modem. I tried cmb typed on ipconfig got the ip address from modem typed into browser an just popped up links to bs... nothing to access modem. I'm probably doing something wrong I really don't know what I'm doing over here Learning as I go from you guys an YouTube videos on the xr1000

I have tried that. QoS 70/70 now I have fiber an it seems like the hit detection is off. I just got fiber installed last week

I don't understand what most of that means. I'm just trying to utilize the Xr1000 to the best I can. I bought it because it's supposed to be one of the top gsmong routers, however it's not easy to set up. I'm not very tech savvy so I'm just learning ad I go. I set up the easier part the Geo-Filter. It seems if I disable QoS my download speed is doubled. Just the upload latency is very high. I don't even know if that applies to when I'm playing mw3.

I have my XR1000 wired directly from my metronet fiber modem. From there I have my laptop wired from XR1000. MY PS5 wired from my XR1000 an I have my orbi router wired from the XR1000 an also another laptop for my security camera's. For some reason my nest camera's won't run off XR1000 wifi. I'm using all cat 8 ethernet cables also. I'm just tryin to get better hit registration don't ever notice lag or anything.

Cuts download speed in half. I know I'm doing something wrong pr not using something right. Damn hit detection is horrible.

So disable QoS completely even when I'm gaming? Yes I my network is quite it's just me here. So by doing this it would help with my hit detection issue? I'm fairly new at tech stuff. Learning as I go.. thanks for your reply.

Having a hard time trying to adjust my xr1000 settings to get a better buffer bloat rating. If I disable QoS I get a higher download speed but worse grade. If I enable QoS I get my download speed cit in half but a better grade. I have 1 gig fiber going an coming. What am I doing wrong? I'm testing my connection off my lap top with a ethernet adapter

Ping was low to mid 30's... it's more then just the hit detection. The sbmm is horrible. Went back to MW2 not a single issue.. game is trash right now, if an when they fix it I'll give it another spin.

I'm done with the game until if an when it's fixed. I read all the comment an questions on reddit yesterday, they answered everything BUT any questions about sbmm.

I just played 3 matches this morning horrible. I Cleary had the drop of someone 4 5 times an when I when to ADS the game was clearly trying to manipulate where I was aiming. I died all 5 times.. game is horrible. Done with it.

See that's the thing the only game that I enjoy playing is free for all so I don't have to depend on another player skill set I just go in there and play by myself.

You might be one of them people that are extremely good at the game. I'm just an average player.

Ok thanks for the information. It's not about adapting to the game. I'm a decent player an from what I have been ready I'm 1 of MANY talking about the same issue. It's horrible. It's not the game per se, but the sbmm an the hit register is horrible.

I'm just tryin to find a way to make this game enjoyable before I toss it in the trash. I don't understand why it's way harder to play then MW2. I'm not gonna tank my games to get better lobbies or mess up my kd ratio. I'm no where near the level of players I'm getting tossed into lobbies with. It's not enjoyable at all. I heard about the vpn an before I put money into it, I just wanted to make sure it helps fight the sweat lobbies they all say that of course they just want your money. Do they actually work is the question.
