Ok thanks for the information. It's not about adapting to the game. I'm a decent player an from what I have been ready I'm 1 of MANY talking about the same issue. It's horrible. It's not the game per se, but the sbmm an the hit register is horrible.

I'm just tryin to find a way to make this game enjoyable before I toss it in the trash. I don't understand why it's way harder to play then MW2. I'm not gonna tank my games to get better lobbies or mess up my kd ratio. I'm no where near the level of players I'm getting tossed into lobbies with. It's not enjoyable at all. I heard about the vpn an before I put money into it, I just wanted to make sure it helps fight the sweat lobbies they all say that of course they just want your money. Do they actually work is the question.

Understand that, but does a vpn help dodge Sbmm. I'm good at cod but I'm getting put in lobbys where it's unbearable to play. Definitely not enjoyable at all.

I already have my laptop connected to the Geo filter to the router to my Playstation but I've been reading about the VPN and it's supposed to be a way around the sbmm so I'm trying to figure out how true is that and as using a VPN you're hiding your location and put it somewhere else but on the Geo filter I can use the poly thing and I can connect to my own server throughout the the world rather what is the difference between using a VPN and a geofilter that way maybe I didn't say it the right way

If I get a VPN an hook up my ps5 to the laptop thru ethernet cable, is that the same as using the geo filter on the xr1000? An I wouldn't be able to use the router anymore if I'm connected to the computer using a vpn? Trying to figure out a way around the sbmm lobbies, and better hit detection.

So when I downloaded the updated, will it automatically appear in the firmware upload section? an ok I understand the use of the heat map now.

Maybe I'm not using the router features correctly.. I just had my search radius at 1500.. I have seen the heat map bit how do I connect to anything using the heat map? I just been using the geo filter... hence I never had an issue like this with MW2..

Where do I get the img file from? I'm not real savvy with computers and Tech stuff.

Ping goes from 21 to 40+ it definitely fluctuates it's what's going on right now how do I install the update cuz I tried on my computer my laptop but it's not letting me do it and I tried on the app to the to the router and it's not letting me do it

This is where I set it at now, also my current version of xr1000. It says not updates available.

Average ping in game 25-42 ping, I try an only play games with ping 39 an lower.

Should I increase it then?

I have tried that also same issue.

Soon as I switched over to MW3 everything has went to poopy, I wanna throw my controller at the TV. I have gotten the drop numerous times an I still die, the hit detection is horrible. Here are my settings if anyone can please help me I would appreciate. I'm an average player with a 1.56 kd in MW2, this game I'm HORRIBLE I can't figure out why. Please help

Thank you I appreciate your knowledge.. can't wait to try out fiber.... my hit detection definitely needs improvement, sometimes I let off 4 5 shots first in a gun battle an still end up dead.. highest ping 42ms lowest 18.. generally 23ms is my ping thru cable internet..
