  1. @mannrs @Netduma Fraser Sorry to bother you again, but I am having so many issues with the Gen 4 modem Can't connect to older devices on Wi-Fi, even while using WPA2/WPA3 option (Non DumaOS issue) DumaOS is sluggish and freezes all the time (Major Issue) DumaOS Dashboard has pinned tiles that you can't unpin The modem settings have less options than the Gen 3 (Non DumaOS issue) Thats to name a few, unless you have an upcoming firmware update for the gen 4, I will shelve it for now, it's not ready! I have had to resort back to the Gen 3 and again require Internet optimiser to be activated for my Gen 3 again Ive PM you my serial number Your help is appreciated.
  2. I reset DumaOS, it was a brand new out of the box Modem (Gen 4), so no I have not factory reset the modem, its new!!! and yes, I have tried it on edge and chrome, both have same issue.
  3. It's not a specific device as it says its Total Usage Downloads & Total usage Uploads and a reset does not work, Ive reset it twice already and it's the same issue.
  4. No, it doesn't, Ive tried this workaround many times. If i pin in under Network monitor it adds a 3rd tile, if i unpin it, only then removes the 3rd tile, the other two tiles are permanently there.
  5. Ok thanks heaps, now that's now activated and i have already found my first issue. On the Dashboard you can't unpin Category Breakdown tile, if you pin it, it adds a 3rd title, these two can't be removed. Any ideas ?

  8. Now that the Telstra smart modem 4 is now officially available, is it compatible with DumaOS on the higher speeds?

I read those issues some were having on Gen 2, but I am on Gen 3, I did notice websites loading slow on multiple browsers after February update, is that related to the other issues people were having? Again since I am on the highest speed tier I need my optimiser activated by @mannrs, not worried that its been removed for issues, but when an update is rolled out will it be reactivated automatically, as I cant select it as an Extra option via Telstra due to my speed tier
  10. @Netduma FraserJust noticed that I know longer have optimiser activated on my Gen 3. Since I am on the High speed plan 750/40 I had to have this manually activated by @mannrs is there a reason this was removed? Can it be activated again?
  11. I know the Gen 3 Got an update early Feb. Not sure about Gen 2. Since update on Gen 3 I have not experienced your issue, but I am currently testing some of my own issues since the update, one being slow loading web pages on Edge, Chrome, Brave

  13. Disregard my request, I managed to get my original Gen 3 back up and running and now have the new latest app/protocol library.

  15. Hi @mannrs @Netduma Fraser sorry about this but I had issues with my Gen 3 modem where I lost WIFI 5GHz mode, I could not get it to work no matter what, even after factory reset. So, I had to I use my spare Gen 3 modem which is now using old app/protocol library. I only just got back from holidays and was excited to test out the new app/protocol library that had been pushed through to me early, but I never had a chance. As stated, my Gen 3 had separate issues, and I had to resort to my spare gen 3 modem. I have tried to PM @mannrs but had no reply, Is there a chance you can get the latest app/protocol library pushed through again. Obviously, I have DumaOS Optimiser running on 2nd Gen 3, but just need the new app/protocol library pushed to that Modem I really wanted to test it all out and just had bad timing that my modem crapped itself just as I was ready to try it out, lucky for me I had a spare, so if you can't get this done again it would be much appreciated.
  16. Hey @mannrs are we still on track to get updates for Gen 3 modem, it's been a long time since we have had any significant updates to DumaOS features on Telstra smart modems. Plus there is still a lot of bugs previously reported that have not been addressed.

  22. Ok, well I will watch over next few weeks and see what info I can gather. But I think we may be on the right track to the root of the issue. When you say next update, is that a Modem or DumaOS firmware update for the Gen 3 or a backend update?
  23. Ok, sounds like a plan. Just one thing. I assume that if unless I use Xbox Cloud gaming via console or PC to play my games via the cloud, then "Cloud Gaming" should not priorities anything else, correct? because if this is the case, I can tell you now, this does occur. But I will monitor it as much as I can to get definitive result.
