  1. "So, since the issue with the R2 not reaching maximum speeds is related to the hardware (CPU) limitations, does that mean this problem will persist even with DumaOS 4? Is it correct to assume that speeds above 1 Gbps will still not be achievable on the R2 regardless of the software update?"
  2. "Thanks for the reply. I have already performed all the tests as suggested, and the results remain the same. My connection uses PPPoE, and it's well-known that the Netduma R2 struggles to handle high speeds on this protocol due to CPU limitations with this type of encapsulation. Since the DumaOS 4 Beta is giving me even lower results than usual, I want to know: Is there any specific firmware version where the PPPoE implementation is more optimized, or is this a hardware limitation that no firmware update (including 3.2.453) will truly fix? I just want to reach my plan's full speed without the router bottlenecking the connection."
  3. "Hi everyone, I'm currently on the DumaOS 4 Beta but my download/upload speeds are significantly lower than my ISP plan. Since the Beta is quite buggy for me, I'm considering rolling back. For those using the Netduma R2: Which firmware version is currently providing the most stable performance and full throughput (bandwidth) without reductions? Does version 3.2.453 handle full speeds well, or is there a specific older build that you recommend for maximum performance?"
  4. Where can I get version 3.2.453?
  5. Which update do you recommend? Can it be stable versions or betas?
  6. Qual versão estável que o R2 funcione em PPPoE e as velocidades funcionem corretamente, e o IPV6 funcione? Estou de saco cheio já desse roteador se pudesse devolver e pegar meu dinheiro de volta!!
  7. Yes, I use PPPoE, it's always been that way on R2. To get the speeds right, I have to use R2 along with my ISP's router, but I don't want to have two routers. I don't think there's any need for two! When I change routers, I have to call my provider so they can clear the router's MAC address. Since the MAC address is the same as the R2 router's, they only allow one MAC address at a time, and I have to do this procedure every time!

  9. In both Speedtest and R2, the speeds are much lower. I have congestion control disabled. I'm on version 3.3.280 and it doesn't have SmartBoost!
  10. The fiber goes through the operator's ONU and then to R2; all devices are on R2, yes! It's just one ONU; I don't have access to put R2 in DMZ. I think it only receives the fiber signal!
  11. Okay, so I have a fiber optic internet plan with speeds of 800/400, but only half the speeds are available on router R2 (test done via cable). I can only get those speeds if I use the ISP's router, and my ISP doesn't allow me to put their router in bridge mode. I'd like to know what I should do to only use router R2 without having to go through the ISP's router!
  12. para o R2 também?
  13. Esse Netduma Óptima como funciona, é somente para Provedores de Internet?
  14. Parabéns e Sucesso!! Liberem o versão estável do Dumas4 do R2!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
  15. It's to avoid mentally ill people who use Hack, console has no less!
  16. I disabled both security filters, the speeds went to 530MB, very close to the contracted speed!
  17. As in the photo, it is connected to the ONU in PPPoE, PC with fixed IP on R2, as it is a PC I disabled UPNP and did manual port forwarding, the tests are performed on speedtest oakla! I am on the stable version .280!
  18. My download speed is 600MB but on R2 it only reaches 300MB, should I put 600 or 300MB on R2?
  19. If the servers are dedicated, the ping assistant doesn't make much sense these days, since it's no longer a player who is the host, right?
  20. Is it possible to block PC players on R2, for example, I play COD BO6 on PC, but I would like to connect only to console players?!
  21. There should be a section on the forum dedicated to the progress and release date for the next stable, beta, etc. updates for the routers that you still support. For example, the R2 has been somewhat put aside. It's been over two years since the last stable version, almost a year since the beta version of Dumas 4, and there's no forecast for when a stable version will actually be released. With all this logistics, it seems to me that the responsible department only changes the R2 when they remember or are asked to finish the job! I apologize for being so blunt, but this is a rant from someone who bought an R2 since its launch and has never seen it work as it should!
  22. I would like to know if the R2 has already been discontinued, since the last stable version .280 was released more than 2 years ago? Which by the way is full of bugs, is there any forecast for releasing a stable version? As a consumer, I don't have the courage to invest in an R3 since the R2 never had a good stable version, and looking at the R3 forum it seems to me that they are the same problems! Is there any forecast for the stable version of Dumas 4 for the R2?
  23. I would like to know when the stable version of Dumas 4 will be available for R2?On network X there is a post from you that would be in the first quarter of 2025.
  24. I completely agree with you, updates bring more problems than solutions, the R2 is abandoned, in theory it is a great piece of equipment, in practice it is a nightmare!

    R2

R2, Unfortunately the R2 was an experiment, the stable version .280 is full of bugs, bugs since the launch, Dumas4 not to mention, totally broken, I will never risk buying an R3!!
