I guess my main question would be does it hurt anything? Like I usually prioritize gaming because my wife and son play other games like Fortnite and siege, etc. Then I was prioritizing cod at the highest level above for me specifically since that’s what I mainly play. Then just for the heck of it put my pc in there as top priority. Would having it like that not prioritize my pc and cod over my sons pc and wife’s PlayStation when they are also playing games?

The .23 had ping spikes. The latest 2 firmwares are definitely better.

Happened to me on multiple routers, my r2, r3, xr500, and Asus. Sometimes it does it every update other times it’s fine so idk

If your referring to download speeds that’s on battlenet and not you. There isn’t anything that can be done to fix it, I tried everything myself. Sometimes they download fast other times the download gets stuck at like 5 gb left and goes slow the rest of the time

If I’m not mistaken it’s either the server your on or more specifically the spot you have set for your location.

So on smartboost I have my pc top priority, and the other tab cod top priority then gaming the next level priority. Is that not recommended? Should I only do my pc or no pc and just either cod or gaming?

Put your console/pc into the geo and add the game you’ll be playing. Add the pc/console to smartboost and prioritize it there, i also prioritize gaming and cod since that’s my main game. Since the ping optimizer isn’t working try just going to advanced both sliders on 70, always on. And steady ping which is automatically enabled, been getting the best hit detection in years, if you play cod though keep in mind the servers just suck at times, you could get packet burst or a high ping randomly that only happens 1 game out of 20, you’ll also get games where it just don’t feel right/ this is just cod and crappy servers+ the skill level of people you play which is out of your hands.

Been using since the r1 as well, I also have a 1gig up and down fiber internet connection. I geo specifically to the Georgia server since it’s the lowest for me at 14-15ms. I’m not being toxic but there is nothing else you could do to break sbmm just router related to be getting pure bot lobbies like your posting, I will say it can slightly reduce the sbmm but not to a drastic bot lobby level, I’m sorry your ego is hurt but I would crush players like you and yes I get you were camping the corner because you were on a 20+ streak I do the same thing on shipment once I get to about 20, fyi I’m a high level iridescent player and I never said anything about hit detection as mine is just as good, the difference is the players in my lobbies are just more skilled then what your coming up against(if that is what your playing on a normal basis which it might not be) which is normal for a high skilled player like me compared to players like you(No Offense). And I’m also dropping nukes at times in those lobbies. I mainly play ranked now that it’s out. —The only way I’ve seen pure bot lobbies like I’ve seen in the 2 games you posted is 2 boxing and joining a bot account. Good for you and 2 thumbs up if you can get those normally but that don’t happen for some of us. I literally get accused of cheating and get lobbies where it’s a coin toss every game on if there will be cheaters in them.

There’s just different skill levels to the game no settings are going to change that but I have mine setup properly but let’s hear it. What does having it setup properly consist of for you?

Has nothing to do with the r3,some of us play in sweaty lobbies because our skill though. Come take a scroll in my lobby you’ll get stunned and Naded 3 times before you can take 2 steps at all times of the match by 2 or 3 guys dying 50+ times spawning and instantly throwing 2 flashes/stuns and a nade or 2. Only time I’ve seen lobbies like that is using an sbmm breaking vpn

I believe the closest server to Ohio is in Chicago Illinois.

I have did that myself and still comes back 100% each time

From what I’ve seen they won’t reconnect and all you have to do is unplug the router for 30 seconds then plug it back in and everything connects.

I had luck connecting via wifi. Ethernet just won’t at all. Unlucky for my son he can’t use wifi on his pc so he had to grind cod with me all night 🤣

I told him it would likely have to be fixed with another update which will probably be a while. If you can find a workaround that would be great. I tried everything myself. Other then that for the first time in a long time on cod I’ve felt like I was on an even playing field, literally destroyed kids all night and only lost like 1 out of 20 games of ranked mp. Will still need some improvements but it’s definitely 5 steps in the right direction

Ever since the firmware update I can’t get Fortnite to connect on mine or my sons pc, it just keeps saying logging in then goes to the screen in the pic I have factory reset the router twice and tried disabling/ reenabling everything one by one to ensure no specific setting was causing the issue. I also tested other router to ensure it wasn’t Fortnite down for some reason, it worked fine on those as well. seems like it will connect normally via wifi which he also can’t do on his pc but won’t connect when hardwired in. Anybody else experiencing this issue or know how to fix it? I definitely dont wanna go back to the other firmware but Fortnite is all my son plays.

If it ain’t going to be pushed to the router automatically please send to me as well

It his router isn’t functioning it’s highly unlikely the firmware is going to fix his issues anyway 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

No cod has like a 14-20 tick rate even in mp, if it shows higher it’s not accurate.

After the delay is the new firmware expected this week is is there no eta at the moment?

I would have waited for the firmware update tbh. Should fix a lot of issues it’s having.

Makes no sense though the first few days I used the r3 it felt great then after a while it just felt normal/okay but the last few days it feels bad, I can’t really explain why but when your a fps gamer who plays a good 5-10 hours a day it’s something you can just feel when something isn’t right.

I hope so, I tried my r2 again out last night because I’ve been having so many issues and I’m probably gonna have to hence the r3 for now. Like something has been seriously going on the last 3 days or so like bullets not connecting right at all, and overall just not feeling right but that don’t seem to be happening on the r2 so far.
