  1. reconnected tcp link router and both speeds and wifi are all back to normal - https://www.waveform.com/tools/bufferbloat?test-id=64fc4116-c0b6-43ba-9a7a-4137af77c02e as you can see pings can get a little poor when in full use of the internet using this router and thus why im looking for gaming packet priority. just so your aware i should have said sooner, the tests are run off my main pc with a wired connection. The wifi i have tested via 3 different devices samsung galaxy s22 etc so not old stuff either.
  2. the firmware was also not up to date i had to upgrade to the latest one but i understand it may have not been the latest. currently the 2g wifi is also dropping in and out, im gonna have to return this for an exchange i think
  3. to me it seems like it wasnt packaged properly and is either one thats been returned before or someone has looked in it at the very least. i have the serial number if that is any help
  4. pics attached you can see the outer brown box has no seals at all and the main netduma r2 box has one seal still in place and the other was already broken. i am now having an issue where the 5g wifi is not coming up at all, ive seperated the channels and renamed them both to be different but no 5g up whereas the 2g is
  5. im in the uk and bought direct from your store would that still apply?
  6. hello, I had disabled qos and when going to that page it states its disabled. turned off ipv 6 turned off scan and flood protection and allow ping. all devices are indeed connected to the R2 i`ve re installed the firmware and reset the device several times. I noticed that it doesnt detect my pppoe connection even after inputting the correct username and password. it says not detected but if i skip this section and carry on through all the settings i indeed have internet access. not tried any more with wifi yet as need to get the basic speed working first. any ideas as i get correct speeds both with the BT homehub and a TCP link router. this was one of the better results but still low - https://www.waveform.com/tools/bufferbloat?test-id=975ca342-ea53-4eab-9e74-7ef13ca79b69
  7. hi testing this with 1gb down and 115 up bt connection, ive disabled qos and cant seem to get above 500mb dl? any ideas why? ive reset the device a couple of times to test but cant get my normal throughput? currently using 3.3.280 till i get used to the firmware. im also seeing very poor wifi performance as well, ive seperated the 2 and 5 ghz channels but still very poor like 17 mb dl and 27 up
  8. ok R2 arrived, in a simple brown box not sealed. The R2 box itself has 1 seal still sealed and 1 seal not so and looks like the device could have been opened by anyone, about to check contents but seems i got an unsealed R2 unit.
  9. thank you.
  10. signed up for early access ty.
  11. Just bought an r2 will be here tomorrow all being well. I have used a Netduma device before and actively posted on here a few years back before v3 firmware was out! I see the R2 has the newer firmware now and so Im back to see if it can help with my gaming experience once more. I have a BT FTTP connection @1gb dl 115 up so just need to make sure were connecting to local London servers for games to get a better experience than we often get right now. Looking forward to having a play around with the router, is there any beta releases i need access to or will the current version of firmware be good enough? Thanks David
  12. I have just gone from an edgerouter er4 to the netgear xr700 and so far the netduma has been much better. I set the er4 up like in that video posted above but it was varying results and wasnt a constant performer for me. I have tried varies routers in the last few months and so far this one seems the best, and with the new version 3.0 os coming soon it will have way more features too.
