  1. I've had my XR500 for years and my device list is now over 40. I had to switch to using an external access point to continue using the XR500 because it was dropping clients left and right. The biggest issue with using an external AP is that Device Manager is pretty much useless now. Other than that, all my devices connect and stay connected.
  2. RJ45 is not the limiting factor in speed, it's either the cable being used or the hardware of the device.
  3. To update to R14, you can just download the new firmware from the Dropbox link and upload it from the DumaOS update page. Checking for new firmware only checks with Netgear servers I believe, not Netduma.
  4. Rebooted the XR and nothing has changed in the Device Manager.
  5. I've ran a scan with the Fing app on my phone and it detects everything just fine. Yes 40 devices is why I had to switch to an external AP. Just too many for the XR to handle and I was dropping connections constantly.
  6. Okay so I changed the XR to a .22 subnet and the AP to a .23. And yes, everything was connected to the AP and being given IPs from the XR but just not showing correctly under Device Manager. Now after the changes, I need to restart each device? I have over 40.. Would rebooting the XR accomplish the same thing or no?
  7. Yes it is a Omada AP connected via RJ-45. I am able to assign a static IP to it as well. So if I changed the XR500 to 192.168.22.1, then the AP would need to be on a different subnet? Example 192.168.23.2?
  8. Gave it a try and no change. Still have most of my devices on Offline, named Null or both. Thanks for the suggestion though!
  9. Are there any plans to address the issues when using an external AP? Such as in the Device Manager where most of my devices say they're offline and are named "Null".
  10. Also requesting beta access! XR500 with an external AP, so I'm curious if the new version will improve the network map.
