Are you talking about going into the network settings of the Duma? If so, the problem is I can’t see the settings in the Duma since it won’t show on my Mac screen. I have no access to any screen on the Duma. It just stays stuck loading.

I can’t remember the version but definitely not the latest. Haven’t used the Duma in a year or 2. It had this issue then so I put it up. I only tried the 192.168.77.1, not the other and it showed Duma OS in the menu bar as if it connected, yet it never displayed. I have the Duma, then my PC and another router (using for WIFI only) hardwired to the Duma. All my lights on both the Duma and WIFI router are on as if everything’s fine, yet I don’t have WiFi and the DumaOS menu/screen won’t come up (it’s just blank as if the loading screen is stuck). My PC does have internet though, through the hardwired connection of the Duma. It’s weird! lol 😂. I have a Mac, how do I open the command prompt? Thanks!

Hello, I can’t get the desktop to pull up on Safari or Google Chrome and the WiFi isn’t working from the router I have connected to the Duma. I have Internet through the Duma that’s hardwired straight to my laptop and it “appears” to be functioning correctly via the lights? I’ve tried factory resetting with the button on back and nothing changes. The homepage (duma desktop) appears to be trying to load on my laptop but the thinking icon just spins and it never displays?

Do you all offer any trade-in value or credit for sending in an R2 in order to get the R3? Thanks

Traffic Prioritization Settings: Modern Warefare (BO4)

So, you’re using 3074-45000 as source? I’m using 3074-3075 source, then 30000-45000 for destination (all UDP only). I’m on OG R1 firmware but not sure if that matters? -

Perfect, I’m going to start with the ports as this is one thing I’ve yet to try. -

On the OG firmware, I’m curious how just switching from reactive to preemptive would do? This in itself I think would take my 300/300 & tone it down. It’s a different algorithm so I wonder how that’d work since it’s designed for slower internet speeds. -
I already have 200/10.....I’m stuck with that. I forgot to mention im getting full speeds (actually 210/11) when I have sliders on the duma set to 100. So, I feel as though I don’t need to upgrade as this seems capable. But just wanted to be certain since there may be hidden problems if it’s not “considered” compatible due to speeds.

The 7610 is not on the approved list for speeds of 200/10, which I currently have (it’s the lowest tier now unfortunately). It is on the approved list for speeds of up to 100/10.....I used it anyways because I wanted to see if it still worked since it’s a great modem & I didn’t want to use their supplied, free modem. “Seems” to be working fine but was a little weary since it’s not approved for my current speeds.

So it’s a safe bet to look at the approved modems that Spectrum offers for my 200/10 speeds, & go with one of those as long as it’s not on the bad boy list? Assuming if they recommend it, it’ll be at least the 16x4 channel version for the speeds? Do I really need 24x4 or is 16x4 plenty?

So, I should go with at least a 16x4 or 24x4? Also, I should find out about docsis 3.1 versus 3.0? I’m running the ping test on the duma with my 7610 & it shows no packet loss, “excellent” on ping, “good” on jitter & spikes. Is it necessary to still upgrade if these all show good? Thanks!

The 7620 was one that we supposedly needed to stay away from.....I think it was on the bad list of modems because of that whole puma 6 chip issue. I have no idea about the docsis 3.1?

I just moved to TX & have Spectrum 200/10. I’m using my TP Link TC7610 which I know is a great modem.....but.....with the speeds of 200/10, spectrum doesn’t recommend this one. They recommend the 7620. My question is, should I go with a different modem since my 7610 is only an 8x4 channel, to match the higher speeds of 200/10? If I run the test on the Duma & it doesn’t show high spikes, ping or packet loss, shouldn’t it be ok, even though it’s not recommended with these speeds? I may try the freebie modem they gave me just to compare....I know they don’t have a great track record, but since I have it & its the recommended modem, why not? What are your thoughts?
