Also had BT out today, as there was a loop fault on my line, which turned out to be corroded connections in the master socket.
So new master socket and wires fitted, I have a speed boost of around 20MEG.
So things may be looking better, I'll monitor the router for a few days, but i think that plug was doing some damage some how.

Sorry to hear you're having this issue Ste. You said accessing via the LAN IP made no difference, what happened when you tried to load it this way as you wouldn't get the same page when failing to connect.

Does it work when accessing using the LAN IP even when routerlogin.net fails?

That's very promising, good job on figuring that out. Do let us know if thats resolved it after you've monitored it for a few days.

I think i've worked it out, I hard wired the house, but left a power line adapter in for one of the bed rooms, that was flashing an orange light on the XR500 instead of white? I've unplugged that and every thing is working, so i think its faulty plug.

Yeah I just couldn't believe what has been happening and what I've been seeing.

I've had no issues with the wifi since I've had the router NewFie.
Most of my issue have been with it locking up, corrupting the operator system and having to re-flash it and the slow updates by netgear.

    Hi
Not sure if this is really an issue or there is a bug in the firmware.
But is High Priority Traffic always supposed to be on?
Even when its not selected as always.
None of the devices are on that use the setting, so I'm not sure why its on?
Is it because of the DCHP release on the firmware not working properly?
As I still have that issue, where devices show on line that are off line and vise verse.
Unable to delete them unless I reboot the router (which is getting annoying).
Is there any way to fix this yet?

Woah it worked! I deleted 1 device that was conflicting with another device and it worked,  even though the device I'm using wasn't conflicting with any of my devices... What? lol

Can't even see Peers or dedicated servers on the geo filter.
Tried the above, got into lobbies but I'm getting games doing this every 5 minutes.
I've also cold booted my xbox.
