Can't wait to try out the Data history! I think It would be cool to see in depth of what happening with my bandwidth on the network. I have a lot of devices on my network, This could really help out with prioritizing the data I want and eliminating devices that is using unnecessary bandwidth. I wonder what the other features will be...

The Future of DumaOS: Version 3.0
Last year we released our first major update for DumaOS, Milestone 1.3. You guys loved it, so we quickly got to work on the next milestone, packing it full of features to make your router even more powerful.
This next milestone will instead be a new version, DumaOS 3.0, and it marks the biggest leap forward in our history. It will contain a huge amount of features never seen before on a router. Instead of just sending out each of the features piece by piece, we needed to wrap them all up into one giant release. We will explain why soon 😉 (but don't worry, we're not doing an EA!).
We know you guys will want to get your hands on 3.0 as soon as possible and we are working very hard to make this happen. But until we are sure, the release date is ‘to be confirmed’. But in the meantime, here is a teaser one of the many features coming to your router in 3.0: Data History.

With Data History you can see how much bandwidth you’ve used over time and drill-down to see which devices and/or applications are eating up all your data or find out how many hours you spent gaming over the weekend. If you are under a data cap, you can also see if you are nearing your monthly limit.
This is just a small glimpse into 3.0. We will be gradually revealing more features over the next few weeks so keep an eye out for more announcements.
One final thing, we launched DumaOS Insiders yesterday. This will be a private subforum where we share first-looks at features we are currently working on and using your feedback to shape them. There are only a few spaces left, so sign up here if you haven’t already: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/29480-sign-up-to-dumaos-insiders/
    Big things are coming.
    Thank you for your support.

There was a delay getting the go ahead for this week but that should be all wrapped up and ready for next week.

Oh ok but, Is it possible to see the specific UDP ports that are being used by the xbox that count non gaming traffic as high priority? A couple times I've tried manually entering the requires ports to play any game on xbox live, but when I started to play a game it would never be counted as high priority traffic. As soon as I used the game console preset, it seems to prioritize any traffic coming from the xbox. But now I'm trying to figure out a way to prioritize only gaming traffic rather than background traffic from the console.

Exactly!! Honestly the only ports I want to prioritize are ports for gaming.. Nothing else.. I feel the performance is much better when one can target specific ports for a particular game then a wide range.. Just for the simple reason you stated above. Plus the in game performance is much better that way..  Good post btw.. Ive been meaning to ask this very same thing!

Yes that's what i'm asking. I wanted to know because on my Xbox when i'm not gaming the circle will still light red and it led me to wonder what the games console service ports were to make background traffic on the Xbox to count as high priority.

Does someone know what are the exact ports that are used in game console service?

I actually would like to know what the exact ports are also!  I know they say it covers about everything.. But I actually like to know the actual port numbers..   Not sure that is what your asking but I know I would like to know..

I think I've found a temporary fix to the WAN disconnection by using the 10G LAN SFP+ port for the Internet connection. It's been stable for 2 hours and everything looks good so far. No interruptions while playing games or browsing the web. I looked everywhere online to see if someone has tried this but I didn't find anything. This could be a solution until NETGEAR comes out with an update to fix it. I will keep everyone updated if it stays stable or not.

It might not even be necessary to reboot honestly because SFP adapters are hot-swappable meaning swap in/out while powered on, but i did a reboot anyway. You may also check under internet setup tab that 10GLAN SFP+ is selected and not Internet port. I left SFP+ module detection on auto.
If I would've known this was a fix for the WAN drops, and I get an extra LAN port from it, I would've done this MUCH sooner. Thank you to @Micbot for finding this.

The SFP I used, as linked earlier in this thread, this is a 1Gbps SFP for $20.99, not a 10Gbps SFP+ which is around $200:
    10Gtek for Netgear AGM734-10000S, 1000Base-T Copper SFP Transceiver, 100m, RJ45 Connector

Yes, the wan disconnects is a known issue and Netgear is looking into it. For now there are workarounds the disconnections by using the SFP+ port for the internet connection or downgrading the firmware to 1.0.0.20. The XR700 does have a built in fan but shouldn't overheat if its not under load. My suggestion would be to modify the fan settings. I like to have my XR700 running cool so I turn the fan speeds to max. You can modify the fan speeds here if you want. http://routerlogin.net/debug.htm
Take a look on this topic for more info and updates on the wan disconnects. http://forum.netduma.com/topic/27726-new-xr700-firmware-version-v1018/?page=2

The current firmware has been bad for my household with disconnects every 5 mins,  previous firmware was about one in 20 mins which didn't bother me much which now i have reverted back to. I'm going to try Micbot's hopeful remedy a try over the weekend and see how it goes.
Sounds promising until a fix can be found.

There have been many other changes beyond just Hybrid VPN. I'm not ruling it out, but just letting you know it's not necessarily the cause.
@Micbot - thank you. We will share this with NETGEAR
