jeycee reacted to Netduma Fraser in Warzone geo filter not showing ping while in match
It won't be able to ping every server as game servers don't respond to traditional pings, we're working on a new ping method that may resolve this.
This may help with the consistency of pinging but isn't a guarantee:
Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Then boot up application/game/client then see if it works better.

Thanks Fraser, I thought my PS5 was lagging for some reason. What you're saying makes sense...absolutely right. 🤝🍀

I think the web browser on the console is based on an older browser version so it won't be very optimized. Do you still have to do weird workarounds just to make the browser available? If so that kind of tells you they didn't make the browser with the idea it would be used a lot

In some situations user's may experience a DNS leak where DNS requests do not go through the VPN. That's being fixed for the next version I believe.

Surfshark works fine for me on my console but I think I may have added 1.1.1.1 / 8.8.8.8 as DNS manually due to the bug with the r2 DNS.

new info: you have to use the dns server from surfshark in netduma then it works... it is not as smooth like the other provider but it works

If you apply the VPN to another device, does it change its IP and appear to be behind the VPN? If it is then I suspect that PSN have blocked the VPN completely

That looks normal, it's quite possible they have banned the specific server you're trying to use, try a different config for another server and see if that works
