Hi Netduma's , I noticed since I switched providers that provides fibre my latency is higher while using R2 router which I find odd. Console plugged into internet box, game search for at the lobby screen latency reads 10 or 11. While in a game the latency is between 12 - 14 without using Netduma R2. But when console is plugged into Netduma and then connected to internet box, latency is twice amount 35+ why is this? I have adjusted QOS, played around Geo settings. I can't get it any lower, what could be the cause of this?

I'm sure opponents if your lobby would have called you out for cheating 😂 Just maybe someday we get this level of latency using netduma without the use of vpn etc. Changing ISP provider has reduced my latency to 10-25 from 60+.

I tried this suggestion, lowering my bandwidth for console to 1mb download and upload and noticed the felt much smoother than before I could tell there was a bit of improvement here

My hit reg is really good since I got full fibre, wanted to try your suggestion if it made a difference. At times I cant tell the difference not using R2.

Not sure what you mean by network priority tab, but bandwidth in game isn't less than 1500kbps

Looks like it, do you mean make my bandwidth for console 1500kbps?

I didn't see much of a difference I would try this too

No I didn't, the changes I make is to Geo filter , make PS5 static like you told me to years ago. Do you mean DHCP lease time? It was 12 have changed it to 168 applied and reboot. I'll keep you updated.

Hey Team, I still experience internet drops every couple of weeks, this happened earlier today. To get back on online I power off netduma, leave for 5 mins and power on. Tis has been my walk around, hopefully the logs attach helps. log-1673094113718.txt

Thats for a permanetly banned account not for shadow ban account, two seperate things.

Thats interesting , How did possibly check if your account was shadow banned on activison? Because my account was once hijacked by PC player, it took activsion 3 months to check my details etc before they recovered my account, I was forced to open a temporary to play on until my hacked account was recovered.

If you been put into a lobby of above 150 then likely you been shadow banned, about a week you get unbanned put into regular lobby ping. Happens to me now and then. Either I have been reported several times thinking I was cheating for playing better than them or it happens I was paired into a lobby with a cheater on my team or the opposing team then the game just randomly shadow bans everyone that had high kills at the end of the game. Once I spot a cheater I quit the lobby. I believe system thinks we all cheating on the team which isn't the case.

I haven't tried warzone yet, I'm not huge fan of the new warzone I will give it a try.

QOS > CLick on profiles > you see drop down menu of profiles for different games.

I'm in London I play on PS5.......Could be the fact that I have opted for the DPI testing, have your Mac address of your router set to Netduma team. My download is set to 1mb upload is 0.33, my package plan is 17mb on sky internet where I moved into fibre is currently been installed for now I'm stuck with broadband. Can't complain don't have issues gaming with it.

Yes, I didn't use DMZ. I unticked share connection.

R2 router I tried both on and off, but while is on I have better ping a+ and ping underload a+ results when testing the network. For traffic prioritization I used the call of duty default preset on the drop down list. My latency was normally from 90 to 100 above it was unplayable, but now it's between 32 & 38 doesn't go above that. It's a night and day experience. Also reduce the MTU I used 750.

The results are amazing....went from 3 to 4 kills to double digit kills.im beginning to enjoy the game finally. My settings. Geo filter: Polygon Mode drew a square around the dedicated server around my location. Filter mode : On Ping assist 0 QoS: Congestion set to never Bandwidth allocation for ps5 I used 1mb download and 0.33 upload. Turned off WiFi,( because I'm hardwired) Turned off Upnp Then I reserved my PS5 IP address. Just a short clip of the bullet hit registration is crips feels like am playing on a LAN tournament, never experienced it this good before.

Changing MTU to 750 made mw2 playable, I can't play mw2 on regular settings I used on previous cods. I'm can't get a kill since launch date,unless I catch the opponent unaware, most times the turn on me and I get destroyed. I gave up mw2, for weeks decide to try the MTU, which made the game playable my shots Registered this time. Looks like I have to tweak more settings just to have a normal game play, thanks for sharing

I have mixed feelings about turning off QOS, mine seems to be okay for now

@designerema Tried yours settings except for MTU bit but looks like you up to something....didn't miss a shot plus I was ahead of my opponents.

Finding the perfect or close to great settings isn't the problem for me, retaining it get it to stick atleast for a while is the issue. I have tweak my router over and over actually lost count over the years, once I get a decent settings I can easily tell while playing in game hit reg is crips my opponents cant keep up lol . After about 1-2 days it goes down hill then am back at square one tweaking settings again have actually given up on cod games, expecially warzone, like Fraser mentioned just too much variables involved. This is multiplayer which is okay, its warzone battle royal mode is just a mess. Rebirth is a small map so you can easily get away with it, these day just from the loading lobby I can tell if am going to have a bad game or not lol
