Sorry didn't get an update you replied, I have figured it out but login. I have ditched BT router and using R2 as my main. -
My settings if anyone is interested Geo filter 2000 km ping assist 0 (default settings) QoS: 95% UP Down 85% - You will need to find sweet spot that works for you, keep adjusting the sliders until you have A+ score on waveform website. Bandwidth Allocation 2mb up and 2mb down TP disabled Uncheck share bandwidth Disable UPnP I already have a decent hit reg but this made it crips and consistent.
-
It does, I made changes like you suggested. Hit reg felt much more better more consistent I mean, got a win in the end
-
Let's me honest when we get killed we just spam the skip button anyway on kill cam reply, so they did us a favour to remove the kill cam lol
-
Did you add the 28 to your MTU to make it 1100? If you didn't that's not your actual MTU number you looking for. My own experience lowering down MTU was a bad experience, yes my bullet reg was good as it is but lowering it made it better but I noticed I died to 2 bullet shot. It didn't make sense I was dying way quicker than I normally did on 1500 MTU. Unless there something else I missing, MTU changes is a no no for me. https://youtu.be/v2rOWgGuHBo Anything below that crashes R2
-
What exactly are you achieving with adjusting MTU, for better hit marker reg? Or better game play experience overall?
-
@Fuzy@TODDzillaInLA Does lowering your MTU disconnect you from the internet? I reduced mine to 650 R2 couldn't find a game to I restarted R2 lost access to R2 interface.

I have disabled wifi on BT smarthub, so nothing can connect to it. All devices are connected to R2, I have reduced radius to cover just UK and used polygon feature to make a square around UK server location. I did a restart I seem to be having similar ping now, on the geo filter I'm not sure if am connected to dedicated server or peer cause they both seem to be on the same spot. I tried denying the peer but still comes up. -

All devices are connected to R2 I don't know what you mean by modem router /modem combo. I have fiber cable connected to BT hub (ISP internet box) then R2 connected to it. I have the R2 set to DMZ mode on the BT smarthub that's how I can only get open nat type on R2 over the years -

Yeah I did do a factory reset, did the usual setup. I used default Geo setting, ping 0 radius 2000. I have used polygon feature it's still the same. Mostly France and Germany I get connected to. -
