Ok I have used it for about a week and so far it seems things are going ok. Is there a reason that this firmware is doing that or an upcoming fix or should I do that with the netduma from here on out?

I already had the rc14 beta running for several months but it's been having issues with randomly disconnecting and only with a factory reset does it fix it. I tried installing the previous rc10 firmware but must have forgot & used the intermediate firmware instead. I successfully upgraded to rc14 just now so i'll test to see if I have the same issues over the next week. I turned Adblocker off to see if that was causing the conflict but it did not. Do you recommend I run the rc10 firmware instead? Is that more stable IYO over the rc14 in some cases? Just having to 30/30/30 every day or EOD is just irritating. Not sure what's causing it. My ISP says on their side it's not showing my internet is going down. I also tried with my second router(VPN) as the main and didn't have issues at least for the 2 days I was using it. Thanks for any help you can provide and sorry for the delay in response as I haven't made time to troubleshoot it.

I've been having issues with accessing the UI and I noticed the firmware version in the top is XR500 V2.3.2.135. Is this the rc14 version but named wrong? I'm assuming this is what's causing my daily to EOD disconnects which makes me have to factory reset each time. I also don't have the adblocker for whatever reason.

I use the Astro Mixamp Pro Tr*(newest one) and have used pretty much all the presets from The Zeference, GadgetryTech, and several others on yt with my Sennheiser pc38x gaming headset. Still can't seem to find what works best though. GadgetryTech said that footsteps were in the 111Hz zone and the 870Hz zone mainly. Since I'm not on PC I don't use the Dolby Atmos to fine tune it. But I do notice that in killcams I can see the enemy can hear me very clearly and wait for me to kill which I seem to not be able to do consistently. Go figure. Maybe it's made for people with garbage headsets? Maybe it's like reverse boosting in that we need to find the cheapest and worst setups and it'll make footsteps the loudest and easiest to hear. I'm actually only half way kidding. Anyways, that's my 2 cents. Hopefully we can get a consensus on what setup and settings work best for this game.

Fraser, is the Ping Heatmap still down as I'm still not showing anything even after resync?

So I did this(screencap attached) and it's showing the UK Server which is Auth server but then it shows a Georgia Allowed Server and a southern california ping assist server and I'm in northern california by the way. So then do a ping heatmap to find the lowest ping values and use that for matchmaking while keeping the the Home location in the ocean?

Where did you input those rules for sources? In the port forwarding? Im willing to try it out and see.

OK I unticked Fast search. I'll assume that the UK server is Daemonware auth server so will leave that alone. I'll change the geo-range to west coast and midwest in the radius and try that along with trying the ping assist again. Funny thing is when the game came out the ping server that was the best for me was the colorado one and it was green. I'm surrounded by 3 california servers that are closer but none of them are even under 50ms which I don't understand why? Is that an issue with my ISP? But anyway, I'll update back with my findings. No. The only thing going through the VPN are 2 media players. Ive attached the UK server you requested.

California. Screenshots attached. Firmware is V2.3.2.134. ISP modem is Arris Touchstone SB6183. Also have an ASUS RT-AC86U VPN router that handles VPN strictly. The XR500 handles all DHCP and WiFi while the ASUS handles just the devices I want going through the VPN although sometimes I use the Hybrid VPN(lifesaver) when I need to but not regularly. Sorry but I blurred out my network devices and stuff. Hopefully that's ok. If you need to know that I can send you a screencap of it personally, just didn't want that all over the internet. I've tried changing my home location, banning high ping servers, changing the ping assist variables, changed traffic prioritization to just Games Console, and dropped Congestion Control to 70% to try to minimize buffer bloat and I still only get into lobbies that are 80+ ping but usually closer to 100+. Is there a big difference in gameplay? Yes, insanely different. When I play in 80-100+ ping lobbies it feels like a different game. The TTK is so fast that I don't even see them before I'm dead. When I get into a 40 ping lobby for instance, it feels buttery smooth, my hit detection feels crisp, and my movement is on point. I get into a higher ping lobby and that all goes away. So much so that I'd rather only be put in lobbies that are 60 ping or less even if it takes an hour to find a game. The difference is that noticeable. Anyways, if there's any advice or suggestions you can give me to only get in low ping lobbies, please let me know. You guys are the only hope I have of trying to enjoy this game this winter. I still haven't received the invite for my R1 or the XR500? Do you think I should just buy the R2 to get 3.0 the quickest or do you think it will release for either of the routers I have? Just getting anxious to try it out. Plus being stuck at home all the time doesn't help any of us lol
