  1. Yes. Around 80-90ms. if I play low ping on the UK/Europe servers, it should be a benefit, but it’s not. Ping isn’t king in this game, neither is (a good) connection.
  2. Oh I figured it out, traffic prioritisation was enabled 🤦🏻‍♂️ I play on a dedicated gigabit line, so if I play without throttling connection, the game punishes me. Everything feels “sped up” and every game is 0.8-0.1.2 kd. I know most don’t play on a dedicated line, but for me I’ve found that any of the features on the duma that are supposed to benefit you actually hinder you. all you need to do is throttle connection 1up/1down and play on servers that are further away. I’m in the UK so I play on the US servers. that’s all you need to do. Don’t use or mess around with any other setting, especially the traffic prioritisation and the game handles perfectly. It’s actually sad that the game is unplayable without using the Duma to “disadvantage” myself.
  3. Downloaded the update and jumped on forgetting to enable my Duma I was beaming. I don’t know what they’ve changed but the servers are crisp, reactive and stable. Seems like I was getting put on the French servers, but whatever they’ve changed connection wise, seems like they’ve also increased SBMM. Every lobby is sweaty try hards. as I said I was beaming….but I was also getting beamed. Enabled the duma, jumped back on, this time on US severs (I’m in the UK) and QoS sliders to 1/1 and it’s a much better experience. 80% of both teams are just running the new sniper tho which is annoying.
  4. In its current state, the game is unplayable for me *without* throttling connection. Gigabit connection, base ping of 3–5, without throttling, the game feels "fast". I shoot first die first always, it's like i've been nerfed. Throttle using Duma to 1up/1down, the game feels like its "slowed down", steady and I don't lose guns fights that I know it should be winning. If I didn't have a Duma and I was using my stock provider equipment, the game would be unplayable. I reset router to factory, all I use are the QoS and I ring fence my home location (UK) and play on those servers. I don't feel the need to force other servers when throttling. No TP, no UPNP. Nothing else works. I've changed settings to get perfect buffer bloat, experimented with capping speeds at different levels, it just feels like the game is still punishing people with 'good connections' when it should be the opposite. It's 2023. There is no reason for lag compensation to exist, there has been enough time for people to adapt to new technology and faster speeds. Given the cost of consoles and games, there is no reason to cheap out on internet. You can't use location an an excuse either as you may not get commercial ISP's in your remote area, but you can always use specialist providers and dedicated lines.
  5. Shoot first die first has always been my experience with CoD games ever since I started upgrading my connection. Now I'm on Fibre with very good ping and it's like a disadvantage rather than an advantage. I'm in the UK, put geo filter to USA servers and limit the bandwidth to my Xbox to <1mb both upload and download, helps significantly because as soon as I turn off everything and play without any settings/filters, i get beamed whilst having a pea shooter.
  6. I don't follow what's going on in the router world however I must admit that I'm a tad upset by the release of this so soon after the R2 as if I had known about both, I wouldn't have purchased the R2 and instead waited for this one 😓
