I'm on Xbox One if anyone wants to add me. GT im the bam

For those who aren't initiated its basically a tactical version of SnD on steroids. They use dedicated servers for PvP and use p2p for terrorist hunt.

I've been a dedicated COD player for quite some time and I can tell you that I haven't touched blops3 since playing the tech test/open beta.

If you like tactical shooters with high levels of communication, highly destructible environments and a lot of teamwork/coordination you'll live this game

Oh yea I guess I should add that all the dlc maps, weapons and operators are free so there won't be a fractured player base because of dlc.

Yeah, im playing it on PS4, loving it so far. However, it kind of renders the geofilter useless as the only host i seem to be able to connect to is in East Coast US. When you're in the middle east thats a fair old hop for the data to travel. Does this mean there are dedicated server/s in ONE location for this game??

I've got it on the xbox one and it's a lot of fun. Definitely a change from the arcade shooters like black ops 3 (which I also thoroughly enjoy). I don't get a ton of time with games but i've put about 5 hours in R6 Siege. I'm a noob that is lucky to get a couple kills in the whole game but it's fun!

I think that would be the data center you are connected to. I'm pretty sure the game uses several dedicated servers. I'm usually connected to the data center around N.Y., but the dedicated server I'm connected to is usually in KC. I also noticed that terrorist hunt uses p2p connections.

Map knowledge is pretty huge in this game. When it launched I didn't have time to play for a few days. I was getting bent over on the new maps, but leading on the maps I played during the previous three betas.

I've been partying up with random ppl in lobbies and I partied up with ppl on Twitter the other night. It's definitely a blast

Been playing for a couple of days now and yeah, map knowledge (needless to say) and playing with people that communicate is a HUGE advantage. All good on the server front now, linking up with hosts in Europe but if i turn the GeoFilter on i can't connect at all. Anyone else having this issue??

I haven't bothered turning my geofilter on yet. I always hook up to the dedicated server in Kansas City and rarely have anyone from Europe in the lobby.

Are you playing terrorist hunt? They use p2p in that game mode so that might be why you connect to Europe
