tjl118
hello - I have enabled transparent bridging on my modem from my DSL ISP and have the PPPoe information. However after I enabled it it disabled my router which i expected. I want the duma to do everything. However when i entered the PPPoe under the WAN settings i get "interface not found" message. What do i do since now i cannot get into the modem's home page anymore since i have no internet connection. How do i fix this and get it right next time? tjl118
nvm the duma must have worked some magic and i have internet now. I have bitched about comcast and how bad it was so i switch IPs and got this result from internet diagnostics PingPING 8.8.8.8 (8.8.8.8): 56 data bytes64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=0 ttl=50 time=38.680 ms64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=1 ttl=50 time=38.394 ms64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=2 ttl=50 time=38.198 ms64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=3 ttl=50 time=38.511 ms64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=4 ttl=50 time=38.537 ms64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=5 ttl=50 time=38.331 ms64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=6 ttl=50 time=38.624 ms64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=7 ttl=50 time=38.673 ms64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=8 ttl=50 time=38.514 ms64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=9 ttl=50 time=38.278 ms64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=10 ttl=50 time=38.321 ms64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=11 ttl=50 time=38.123 ms64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=12 ttl=50 time=38.531 ms64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=13 ttl=50 time=38.383 ms64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=14 ttl=50 time=38.633 ms64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=15 ttl=50 time=38.238 ms64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=16 ttl=50 time=38.305 ms64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=17 ttl=50 time=38.334 ms64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=18 ttl=50 time=38.164 ms64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=19 ttl=50 time=38.438 ms

tjl118
However i still have another question. Since i was at a 120/25 cable connection speeds before i believe my settings may not be correct. Is there a link that goes over every setting on the router that you should have for optimal performance on a less than 100 mb or 50 mb connection?????
