Twitch and the R1

I have been trying to find a happy medium streaming bo3 using twitch and the duma since the latest update. My speed specs are 100 down and 1.5 up. If I set the duma at 85/85 it seems to work ok but I would like it better. If any of you guys have any better settings that you use your input would be appreciated.

Funny you should ask about Twitch... ;)

I hate to say this, but you have just barely enough to stream in any acceptable quality (480p @ 24fps?).

Ideally, you want at least, 4mbps upload if not more. The fastest package in my area offers 5mbps, but at non-peak hours I can get closer to 6mbps. This gives me a lot of headroom (bitrate) to play with to get the best quality stream and makes the game playable with the Netduma and my VPN.

BO3, itself, doesn't send & receive that much data, but you're also streaming a live feed (of constant data) along with it... Like I do, when I stream. To do this, I had to invest in internet with higher upload to maintain both game playability and stream quality (for all games, not just CoD).

I would recommend you NOT use CC with your current upload because I'm guessing this is what is throttling both your game and stream when you don't have much to spare to begin with?

I recently switched to 960x540p @ 60fps, 2500mbps. It looks pretty damn good and plays back at 60fps, BO3's native frame rate.
