wmthunder36 Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 Hi so I have a ps4 and Xbox one both connected to a netduma router. On Xbox one I believe I have it fully setup in dmz (not sure what it is but i did it) so my Xbox is good. However when I play black ops 3 on my ps4 I have a moderate nat type. How do I get this nat to be open using a netduma router which is hooked up to my att uverse modem. Thanks Ps- I do not know much about networking at all.:/ Thanks!!!
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 12, 2015 Administrators Posted November 12, 2015 Hey there, does your PS4 report NAT type 2 on network settings? If so that means it's open. You can disable the Geo-filter before booting up the game to see if it changes to open. However, we believe it to be an issue with the game reporting a false reading. You can see more on that here Also make sure it's the R1's WAN IP in the DMZ not the xbox itself.
