Ralph3rd
hello id like to kno if i should turn off my confiuration settings within my firewall on my bt hub 5(options are default, block all, or disable). im currently set to a reactive algorithm with call of duty settings on r1, and my isp dmz is set for the r1, upnp is switched on, on both routers. any info would be appreciated, thanks. Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted November 8, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted November 8, 2015 Hi Ralph, welcome to the forum You can set the firewall to 'Disable' and then make sure the Netduma is in the HHs DMZ.
deekay
Hey, usually you don't have to disable your firewall on the isp's hub you allready bypassed it with putting the r1 as exposed host (dmz)... I had problems when i enabled UPNP (nat-pmp) on both routers, so i would say try to disable UPNP on the bt hub and let the r1 do this with UPNP enabled... You can also try if it doesn't work like it should to enable UPNP forwarding in the (R1) MISC. section... But first try only with UPNP on the r1... I also had good experience with Deep Packet processing enabled , cookies enabled and nothing else When using the REACTIVE algo... This works great for me... but hey, try out...
