charliebigchip
Quick one regarding guest/previously unknown devices connecting to the Netduma via wifi. I will have a total of eight “resident” devices that will be going through the Netduma, all of which (apart from my PS4) will be via wifi. How will the router manage the bandwidth of a guest device or would you advise I don’t have friends/families “guest” devices going through the Netduma?? Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted November 8, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted November 8, 2015 Hi Charlie, It would be best if all devices including guest devices go through the Netduma. This is because then if they are using lots of bandwidth, congestion control would still work There is a planned feature which will allow new devices to go into a 'Guest Group' and all devices in that group would share a set amount of bandwidth
