Guest Netduma_Iain
The PA will look for player/hosts below that ping below. If so they will be let through regardless of distance
fuzzy clam
I would open your PA up a little bit,say 35-45 you'll have much better results from the PA feature
Buds
PA is a great feature which will help locate incorrectly located servers or allow through really good hosts with low ping but who happen to be outside your preferred geo-filter range. Belloni
What kind of range to set now with this feature?
Buds
Ping assist is not range based. It is a millisecond measure. So set your geo-filter range to whatever you prefer / normally use and then set ping assist to what ever you 'feel' is a good connection in ms for you. Unfortunately there is no one answer fits all. If your best connection in ping is 40 ms (due to location / ISP etc) then me telling you to set it at 25ms means it would not be of any benefit to you
Guest Netduma_Iain
Agree with every buds said. Personally, but I live in the UK with high player population and density: Distance: 1000 - 1800km Ping Ass: 40 - 50ms
