Bart Posted Sunday at 08:10 PM Posted Sunday at 08:10 PM Hi, it is normal when i try to force nearest server in cod for ex 10ms after searching couple seconds it bump ping in game to find worst server. Even when strict mode on. Any advice? Thanks.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Monday at 08:28 AM Administrators Posted Monday at 08:28 AM Yes it will cycle up in increments if it is unable to find servers under that value, for it to find a game under 10 ms you would have to be very close to the server
Bart Posted Monday at 03:14 PM Author Posted Monday at 03:14 PM I guess before it sits till find server without bumping ping up. Its geofilter update, mw4 or software? That was main geofilter feature, now r3 is useless? Thank you
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Tuesday at 09:12 AM Administrators Posted Tuesday at 09:12 AM It's very unlikely to find a game under that value, it's nothing to do with the router or game - it pings all the servers when you load up the game so it will know roughly what ping you're capable of achieving so if you're going to have 30ms ping at the very lowest its not going to waste time looking for games under 10ms for very long.
Bart Posted Tuesday at 09:48 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 09:48 AM Thank you Fraser. In BO7 it sits and same ping. That was netduma changes or Activision?

Bart Posted 16 hours ago Author Posted 16 hours ago So basically Fraser netduma is useless now in cod?. Was best when sitting on selected server till filled with best ping. Any workaround @Netduma Fraser ?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted 2 hours ago Administrators Posted 2 hours ago No, just because you're unable to get a game below 10ms doesn't mean it's useless. It's very likely you can't get a game that low. Are you able to force the closest server to you that has the lowest ping out of all the servers around you?
