Question about UK broadband providers for R3

My contract with Virgin Media is ending and I want to switch to another provider in the UK. Which UK providers will work without problems with the Netduma R3? With Virgin, I use the R3 together with the Virgin Hub switched to modem mode, but I know that other providers like BT or Sky don't offer a modem-mode option on their hubs. So how does it work with other providers if I want to keep using my R3? And which provider is the most stable and best for gaming? Are you able to help me with this? Thank you.
