gugz_ Posted yesterday at 10:07 AM Posted yesterday at 10:07 AM Hi, i have a good amount of knowledge with routers ive experimented with advanced custom sqm scripts / qos scripts device prioritisation etc on routers like gl i net flint 2 , asus rog rapture gt ax-6000 and asus rog rapture gt-ax11000 Ive got great results with the flint 2 and both asus routers but i prefer the asus rog rapture gt ax-6000 for gaming , i Have a question about the netduma r3, im interested in purchasing netduma r3 because it seems great!! especially the steady ping feature i feel is the main stand out feature for me! ive used ssh to check the router kernel config hz tick rate of the flint 2 which was 100hz , both asus routers was 1000hz kernel tick rate config. My question is what is the kernel tick rate of the Netduma r3? i have a sharp eye and i think its 250hz kernel tick rate but i dont know, Any chance someone can tell me or ssh into the router to check what the config hz kernel tick rate is please? also the router seems great so far i just have this question and if possible what does the netduma r3 use when running sqm? is it cake, fq codel, htb+sfq, red, pfifo fast etc and can i use sqm whilst having netduma r3 geo filter and steady ping active at the same time or no? Thank you and sorry for my bad english! Cheers
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted 7 hours ago Administrators Posted 7 hours ago I'll have to check regarding the tick rate of the kernel, I've no idea honestly and no one has ever asked that. To answer your other questions/points: It's not possible to SSH into the router Steady Ping won't work 100% of the time It's using codel with our own proprietary algorithm Yes QoS, Geo-Filter & Steady Ping can all be used at once
