kojiro4433 Posted July 17 Posted July 17 Hello Netduma Team, New EA SPORTS FC 26 server infrastructure appears to have recently become active in Turkey, most likely in or around Istanbul. A large number of Turkish players are now reporting in-game latency between 2 and 6 ms, whereas they previously connected to European servers with considerably higher latency. Multiple players have shared screenshots and network-routing results supporting this change. Some internet service providers are already reaching the new infrastructure with very low latency. However, other providers—particularly Turkcell Superonline—appear to have a routing problem and are reaching the same Istanbul-based infrastructure with approximately 30–60 ms. Could you please investigate the newly detected EA SPORTS FC 26 server IP addresses in Turkey and add or correctly classify them in the Netduma Cloud database, Geo-Filter and Ping Heatmap? A Cloud resync currently may not display or correctly locate these new servers. Updating the database would allow Turkish users to identify, monitor and filter the new local FC 26 servers correctly. There has not yet been an official announcement from EA, but the widespread 2–6 ms results and network-routing evidence strongly indicate that new local or edge server infrastructure has been activated in Turkey. Thank you.

kojiro4433 Posted August 9 Author Posted August 9 What happened? When will the Istanbul server be added?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 10 Administrators Posted August 10 I'll chase them and see when they can do it
kojiro4433 Posted August 21 Author Posted August 21 When will it be finalized? FC 27 is coming out soon; I'm still waiting.
kojiro4433 Posted August 21 Author Posted August 21 Can I also try this version of the software, 4.0.645?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 21 Administrators Posted August 21 They are going to be looking at it yes. There is a more up to date version, you now have access: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/61172-new-r3-firmware-dumaos-401442/

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Friday at 07:44 AM Administrators Posted Friday at 07:44 AM I'll double check and see when they can update it - it won't stop you being able to connect to it with the Geo-Filter though
kojiro4433 Posted 6 hours ago Author Posted 6 hours ago Hello Netduma Team, I am following up on my previous request regarding an Istanbul server for EA SPORTS FC. I first reported this issue on July 17, and at the time I was told that the matter was being looked into. However, almost two months have now passed, and there is still no Istanbul server available for EA SPORTS FC. FC 27 is now approaching launch, with pre-orders opening on September 17, and a new Netduma firmware update has also been released. Unfortunately, Istanbul is still not available for FC 27. This is becoming increasingly frustrating for Turkish players. We have been waiting for an Istanbul server for a long time, and the problem directly affects latency, matchmaking and the overall online gameplay experience. At this point, I would really appreciate a clear and specific update, rather than simply being told that it is being investigated. Could you please clarify: Is an Istanbul server for EA SPORTS FC 27 actually planned? Has Netduma confirmed that EA is working on or preparing Istanbul server infrastructure? If it is planned, what is the expected timeframe for Istanbul to become available? Will Istanbul be available when FC 27 launches, or should Turkish players expect to wait even longer? Does the latest firmware contain any changes related to FC 27 server detection/routing? I originally raised this request on July 17 because the lack of an Istanbul server was already a problem in FC. Now FC 27 is about to launch, and we still have no clear information. I understand that server infrastructure ultimately depends on EA, but I would appreciate knowing whether this is something Netduma is actively pursuing with EA and whether there is any realistic ETA. Please don't just tell us that it is being looked into again. We have been waiting since July 17. At this stage, we need a concrete status update and, if possible, an estimated date. Thank you.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted 6 hours ago Administrators Posted 6 hours ago The only thing we would add it to is Ping Heatmap - the Geo-Filter will already show available connections so you would already be able to get the server if it's available to connect to so there is nothing you need to wait on us for to be able to play on that server. When the game properly launches we'll test it and if any Geo-Filter updates are needed then we will do so. We don't have any contact with any game companies.
