Hello,

I’m trying to set up my PC on a static 192.168.1.x because I have some issue with my Escape from Tarkov.

My PC is actually on a 10.xx adress

i tried to do like this

But when i put 192.168.1.x  I have a message saying it need to be on IP range.

Then I changed the LAN settings to 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.255, I have an error saying i need to change WAN settings first.

Then I changed the WAN settings to 192.168.3.1, it worked but I lost internet and access to router login.net

PLEASE help me !

Revert all your changes that you've done and then just set your device as 10.0.0.x and you'll be good to go but setting a static IP for your device isn't going to solve an issue with a game

I reverted everything already

The optimisation of this game is very bad. People claim that changing MTU or PC to static or 192.168 adresse solve this issue.

From a networking perspective setting a static local IP for your device wouldn't do anything for your game experience. MTU maybe but only if it was set incorrectly in the first place.

i Never touched it, always stayed at 1500

i want to try at least, I tried almost everything, the only solutions left is to move my PC to static IP and to reinstall windows.

The IP you're getting suggests you're using another ISP modem/router that the XR is connected to, have you put the XR in its DMZ? Do you have devices connected to that still? Are you using QoS on the XR?

a Part of my ISP box I don’t have anything else than the XR1000.

have you put the XR in its DMZ?

I tried to, with an IP 192.168.1.1 but I got an error message saying that it will conflict with my WAN IP

Do you have devices connected to that still?
to what?

Are you using QoS on the XR?

No, should I ?

I think you're referring to the DMZ on the XR in which case it'd have to be one of your devices you put in there so with a 10.0.0.x IP but don't do that and I'm referring to the DMZ on the provider router - you'd put the WAN IP of the XR in it which could be found on the XR System Information page or your provider router device page.

Do you have devices still connected to your provider router?

Yes you should use QoS if you want the best connection - it's just a normal router if you don't make use of the features like that

maybe i didn’t understand what you said but DMZ is the thing that you set a static IP to a device? If yes I put the XR on it but will double verify

i have still access to my provider router, I can do what I want on it so yes tell me what you want me to do

i will start to use it, maybe this will solve my server connection lost issue on Tarkov too…

The DMZ passes all traffic through to what you put into it, that's why you should put the XR WAN IP into it on your provider router so the provider router isn't impacting any connections.

Put the XR in its DMZ and I'm just asking if you have devices connected to the provider router because if you do then you should connect them to the XR so that QoS is properly effective once set.

I'd recommend having a look here at some guides that can help you https://support.netduma.com/docs/dumaos-3/

XR has been added to my DMZ

also updated QoS to automatic, or should I put it on always?

That's personal preference, automatic means Congestion Control will only apply when your Traffic Prioritization rules are active. Always means it will always apply. The Congestion Control percentages do need to be less than 100% to work.

As per the support that you sent, I’ve set it to always.
also I finally figured out how to set my PC to a static IP, and move them to 192.168.0.x Hopefully it will solve my server connection lost issue.

also set my XR to DMZ of my ISP
