look how many servers in my area and they always wanna put me on east in game i have west selected and this also happens on arc raiders the thing i notice it happens more on pc my xbox connects to my prefer servers but my pc struggles even when having my pc set as a PlayStation

With the way Fortnite works it only tries to connect you when it's loading in to the pre-game so that's the only time it can be blocked which can then lead to a slow time back to the lobby. It doesn't work like other games where it will continually try to connect to servers until it finds one you can connect to. It's a completely bizarre system in my opinion but that's why we usually suggest for Fortnite to disable the Geo-Filter but where you can still see servers then just quit if it's not the one you want, it will be faster. For Arc Raiders for proper compatibility it would require a change to the way the Geo-Filter itself works so not as easy to improve.
