Tayy Posted Thursday at 12:08 PM Posted Thursday at 12:08 PM My Router works fine for around 20-30 minutes and then randomly just disconnects me for a minute and then reconnects. Very frustrating when in game and continued disconnects. Any ideas or help please?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Thursday at 03:03 PM Administrators Posted Thursday at 03:03 PM What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Do you use PPPoE/VLAN? Is this happening on all devices or specific devices? Could you provide the logs when it next happens please?
Tayy Posted Thursday at 09:39 PM Author Posted Thursday at 09:39 PM Technicolor DGA0122 is the router I am using. It has worked previously but I had the router out for a while and it then stopped working. Appears to only be an issue within BO7 however. I do not use PPPoE or VLAN - Happening just on my PC. Unsure how to find the logs, sorry? I seem to get some packet loss and packet burst and then it disconnects
Tayy Posted Thursday at 09:44 PM Author Posted Thursday at 09:44 PM Is there a way I can directly send you the logs? Conscious it has my IP on some of them...
Tayy Posted Thursday at 09:45 PM Author Posted Thursday at 09:45 PM But stuff like this is in the log - daemon.err odhcp6c[6027]: Failed to send SOLICIT message to ff02::1:2 (Cannot assign requested address)
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Thursday at 09:53 PM Administrators Posted Thursday at 09:53 PM Okay so you're just getting disconnected from the game, not the internet? You can send it in a private message to me. Is it when you're actively playing, when the game has ended and searching for another etc?
Tayy Posted Thursday at 10:15 PM Author Posted Thursday at 10:15 PM Sent you a pm mate. I think the whole internet goes. Sent you the logs
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Thursday at 10:28 PM Administrators Posted Thursday at 10:28 PM In Settings > DHCP > Add Rules > Select Device > Save. Do that each device you're noticing the disconnects/issues with. Then in DHCP > Advanced change the lease time to 10000, save, reboot the router from the interface and see if it happens again please.
Tayy Posted Friday at 12:51 AM Author Posted Friday at 12:51 AM Tried that and then next game same thing happened. Sent you the new logs in a pm

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Saturday at 12:04 AM Administrators Posted Saturday at 12:04 AM Could you connect it via WiFi and play and see if you get the same issue please?
Tayy Posted Saturday at 08:53 AM Author Posted Saturday at 08:53 AM Tried that and got the same issue
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Saturday at 09:39 AM Administrators Posted Saturday at 09:39 AM If you disable the Geo-Filter and play does it continue?
Tayy Posted yesterday at 09:21 AM Author Posted yesterday at 09:21 AM When you say disable, do you mean just extend it so its not limited to the area I want? Unsure how to completely disable it

Unsure how to completely disable it Click on the device you've added on the Geo-Filter then there will be an option to toggle off Filtering
Tayy Posted yesterday at 04:48 PM Author Posted yesterday at 04:48 PM Tried that -- Same thing again is it just chalked? haha
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted yesterday at 05:09 PM Administrators Posted yesterday at 05:09 PM Did you restart the game after disabling it to try again?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted yesterday at 05:48 PM Administrators Posted yesterday at 05:48 PM On the technicolor set the R3 with a static/reserved IP please, reboot the R3 from the interface, wait 4 minutes then see if it happens again please
Tayy Posted 8 hours ago Author Posted 8 hours ago Tried that, same thing again, starts with packet loss then disconnects me.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted 4 hours ago Administrators Posted 4 hours ago I've given you Early Access, please upgrade to that firmware and see if it continues https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/
