Tayy Posted February 26 Posted February 26 My Router works fine for around 20-30 minutes and then randomly just disconnects me for a minute and then reconnects. Very frustrating when in game and continued disconnects. Any ideas or help please?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 26 Administrators Posted February 26 What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Do you use PPPoE/VLAN? Is this happening on all devices or specific devices? Could you provide the logs when it next happens please?
Tayy Posted February 26 Author Posted February 26 Technicolor DGA0122 is the router I am using. It has worked previously but I had the router out for a while and it then stopped working. Appears to only be an issue within BO7 however. I do not use PPPoE or VLAN - Happening just on my PC. Unsure how to find the logs, sorry? I seem to get some packet loss and packet burst and then it disconnects
Tayy Posted February 26 Author Posted February 26 Is there a way I can directly send you the logs? Conscious it has my IP on some of them...
Tayy Posted February 26 Author Posted February 26 But stuff like this is in the log - daemon.err odhcp6c[6027]: Failed to send SOLICIT message to ff02::1:2 (Cannot assign requested address)
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 26 Administrators Posted February 26 Okay so you're just getting disconnected from the game, not the internet? You can send it in a private message to me. Is it when you're actively playing, when the game has ended and searching for another etc?
Tayy Posted February 26 Author Posted February 26 Sent you a pm mate. I think the whole internet goes. Sent you the logs
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 26 Administrators Posted February 26 In Settings > DHCP > Add Rules > Select Device > Save. Do that each device you're noticing the disconnects/issues with. Then in DHCP > Advanced change the lease time to 10000, save, reboot the router from the interface and see if it happens again please.
Tayy Posted February 27 Author Posted February 27 Tried that and then next game same thing happened. Sent you the new logs in a pm

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 28 Administrators Posted February 28 Could you connect it via WiFi and play and see if you get the same issue please?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 28 Administrators Posted February 28 If you disable the Geo-Filter and play does it continue?
Tayy Posted March 2 Author Posted March 2 When you say disable, do you mean just extend it so its not limited to the area I want? Unsure how to completely disable it

Unsure how to completely disable it Click on the device you've added on the Geo-Filter then there will be an option to toggle off Filtering
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 2 Administrators Posted March 2 Did you restart the game after disabling it to try again?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 2 Administrators Posted March 2 On the technicolor set the R3 with a static/reserved IP please, reboot the R3 from the interface, wait 4 minutes then see if it happens again please
Tayy Posted March 3 Author Posted March 3 Tried that, same thing again, starts with packet loss then disconnects me.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 3 Administrators Posted March 3 I've given you Early Access, please upgrade to that firmware and see if it continues https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/
