18RayF Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Hi I play Val only have London in game selected but im getting routed to Dubai and other servers in USA getting around 150ms which is unplayable resulting me getting banned for 72 hours . I have removed from geo filter , re applied etc nothing works.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 1 Administrators Posted February 1 You're saying you're being routed to other servers - do you mean you're connecting to the London server but then servers outside your radius are appearing blocked but they are the host of the game or servers are showing as allowed outside the radius?
18RayF Posted February 1 Author Posted February 1 No so in game only London is selected but if i load up etc my ping is at 150 ms , on geo filter I have set radius UK only and yes servers are in USA or Dubai show despite them being blocked.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 1 Administrators Posted February 1 Can you provide a screenshot of what you see when it happens please?
ExcellentZERO Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Hey dude hope this helps make your geo filter smaller. not as big it happened to me before
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 1 Administrators Posted February 1 Do you have Geo-Latency enabled? If so disable that and then reboot the game & game client and try again please
18RayF Posted Monday at 09:51 AM Author Posted Monday at 09:51 AM Yep Geo Latency is enabled I will try disabling that and let you know how it goes
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Monday at 03:06 PM Administrators Posted Monday at 03:06 PM Okay great, keep us posted!
V1k1 Posted Tuesday at 02:17 AM Posted Tuesday at 02:17 AM big valorant player here + have spoken to the Netduma team on this a handful of times. Just my experience below. I'm in USA California and only select the California server to play on. Before, the Geo filter was showing me connecting to a server in Oklahoma - which there is no Oklahoma server in Valorant. I confirmed the server IP address (the live connection in stats4nerds or other software can show it) and gave them the IP and server ID shown. it was fixed eventually. What was weird is that the ping was matching what was in-game and what the geofilter was showing, just not the right location. Rarely, geofilter will show me connecting to some place in Copenhagen with 80+ ping, but in-game my ping remains normal. Not sure if it was just showing a different connection of some sort. Your server ID is not any of the ones I logged so maybe double check the IP, in-game ping, router ping, etc. The netduma team once pointed out a serverID I gave, which was showing while i was in-game, was some cloudfare server (so it was pinging something else while I was in-game?). Additionally, before the location was fixed, if i blocked out "oklahoma" i wouldn't be able to join valorant matches, even though i was only selected on the Cali server in the Val menu. Valorant does use other ports and connections for other aspects of the game, client, etc. Not sure about you getting kicked though. I imagine if any of these are wrong in the geo filter, and you're blocking it, then the router/valorant won't be happy
18RayF Posted 17 hours ago Author Posted 17 hours ago Sorry for late reply but after turning off geo latency etc I cant get into any games , Val loads up etc when i select a game mode it freezes on loading screen. Ive tried the following Updating GPU driver, Repairing game files , uninstalling and reinstalling Val and Riot client , iva also turned geo latency back on still nothing works
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted 13 hours ago Administrators Posted 13 hours ago Does it work without the Geo-Filter enabled?
