It's likely a mislocated server then, can you provide a screenshot of the Geo-Filter page showing what you see when it happens and also provide the ID of that server please?

Why is this always the fix when there is an issue connecting; I'm experiencing this currently, and why do we need to set the device as playstation? 

1. Quit the application/game/client completely - including the game client from the System Tray - important!
2. Remove device from the Geo-Filter
3. Give your PC the PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager
4. Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu
5. Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter
6. Set up the Geo-Filter how you like
7. Wait 2 minutes
8. Boot up application/game/client and try again

For PCs you specifically pick the game for the Geo-Filter which can become out of date, switching it to a PlayStation allows it to use a method that doesn't go out of date. The rest of the process ensures you're running the latest cloud and that any current connections that could be hindering you are severed and that your new setup will definitely take effect. Has this solution solved your issue?
