x3- Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago when running the buffer bloat, should the speed test by pass be off? With the setting off I get extremely high latency spikes in the test . I'm playing mostly cod bo7 in-game the is latency 3ms and still get ghost bullets is there anyways of optimizing that? I only games so just need the most stable latency possible. down/up speed: 100mbps firmware: v4.0.236 when using the newest version even the beta, my connection to pc keeps disconnecting every couple of minutes making it imposable to play.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted 13 hours ago Administrators Posted 13 hours ago Bypass should be off yes - based on your screenshots, are you certain the issue is when bypass is off? As your speeds should show reduced when the option is off as it will be reflecting your Congestion Control percentages and that's the test you have the better results on which would make sense. The other way around wouldn't make much sense. What is the Geo-Filter showing as your ping to the game as it's very unlikely you'd be getting 3ms to the game server - there is really no improving that low a ping if it is the case and you'd need to focus more on ensuring that ping is actually a stable 3ms and potentially finding servers that play better even if they have a slightly higher ping
x3- Posted 13 hours ago Author Posted 13 hours ago Hey there! I’m noticing around 3-4 milliseconds in the Geo filtering tab. Is there any way I can make sure that 3 ms stays steady through the R3? Interestingly, the people I play with don’t seem to have the same issue I’m having connecting to the server, even though we live in the same city. It used to work perfectly about a year ago when I was playing Black Ops 6. Do you have any recommendations for a preferred firmware that would guarantee stability?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted 12 hours ago Administrators Posted 12 hours ago 1ms jitter is exceptionally good, it's not going to really get better. Even using steady ping it's going to add at least 8-10ms on top to keep it at a constant value. We'd always suggest the latest firmware, there is no firmware that guarantees stability, if there was that would be the main firmware really. Try to force different servers with a slightly higher ping and see if you have a better experience
