EE WiFi enhancer geo filter conflicting with discord on Xbox

Hello,

Is it a known whereby I’ve enabled WiFi enhancer geo filter in the EE App, targeting just the UK region only with one device added an Xbox series X, on call of duty bo7, from what I can tell it connects only within the UK which is fine it’s what I wanted (suffice to say it can never gather ping when Waiting for host… in the app)

 

 but the issue I’m getting is when geo filter is active, it prevents discord party chats on the Xbox getting stuck on connecting… then if I turn off the geo, it instantly connects and I can speak.

 

i use discord a lot on Xbox for comms and would love to use the geo filter, however it’s currently one or the other

 

is it just me with these symptoms?

There will be servers that we need to allow to prevent this happening, you've already found one workaround, disable the Geo-Filter, use Discord and then you can re-enable the Geo-Filter to filter again. As the Discord connection will still be active it will not be blocked until that connection is severed. Otherwise have a look on the map for a blocked icon when it happens, click it then add it to your allow list and that will prevent it happening again - you may need to do it a few times to get all the applicable servers. If you could then provide the IDs of those servers we can get them added to the global whitelist.
