VLAN di Tim hub+ non va

Ciao a tutti. Ho acquistato l'r3 qualche settimana fa……..Ma già ci sono i primi problemi. Mettendo la VLAN di Tim hub+ (mi hanno dato i codici da mettere nel router di gioco direttamente tim) mi disattiva la connessione del modem (netduma r3)

Put the details in, reboot your modem, wait 2 minutes then reboot the R3 from the interface, wait 4 minutes then access and see if you have a connection?

Allora la connessione torna quando non inserisco la VLAN di Tim. Mettendo solo la PPPoE funziona. Ma mettendo solo la PPPoE praticamente a livello di gioco e di bufferblaoat è tutto come era prima (schifo!) Quindi un buffer alto  e livello di gioco è brutto. Io ho una FTTH una 1000 mega

Okay so you don't need VLAN then. You'll need to adjust Congestion Control (Ping Optimizer > Advanced) to find the best percentages to reduce your bufferbloat

No ho bisogno di collegarlo alla VLAN perché così riesco a gestire il traffico. Così invece mi da un ip pubblico e non va bene per il gaming! Come posso fare a mettere la VLAN di Tim?

Il mio provider mi ha obbligatorio tutto sia VLAN che PPPoE ma appena inserito la VLAN mi fa crash del netduma

If you're entering VLAN and you don't get internet then you don't need VLAN for a connection. I'm not sure what you mean about a public IP being bad for gaming but that's not correct.

mettere una VLAN riducono il traffico di broadcast e migliorano la sicurezza e le prestazioni, soprattutto per il gaming

Ma la mia linea di Tim non me lo permette di mettere questa VLAN. Cosa devo fare per mettere LA VLAN nel modem netduma?

It has no benefits for gaming, it's simply a way to connect which you do not need, if you needed it you would have a connection with it set. Focus on Congestion Control to eliminate bufferbloat.

You don't need to disable anything specifically but I would suggest you put the R3 in its DMZ/exposed host function

Quindi mettere R3 nel modem del provider in DMZ? Giusto? E applicare la pppoe?

If your setup is Tim Hub > R3 the R3 does not need PPPoE/VLAN because the Tim Hub is handling it. In this case you would put the R3 in the Tim Hub DMZ. 

If your setup is ONT/Wall > R3 then the R3 needs PPPoE. In this case the Tim hub is irrelevant as you aren't using it.

Ciao fraser. Allora sono riuscito a metterlo in dhcp il netduma r3 ma mettendolo così cosa devo impostare nel modem Tim? Perché ho disattivo la dhcp di Tim e messo l’ip di netduma sul modem in modalità DMZ di Tim e devo dire che sta funzionando. E la procedura corretta?

You didn't need to disable DHCP on the Tim but now that you have done so set the R3 IP as static/reserved on the Tim and other than that it's correct!

The R3 WAN IP yes - the one shown on the R3 WAN Settings page / the one shown for the device on the Tim hub devices page

Quindi se abilito un’altra volta il dhcp nel router di Tim non avrò conflitti con netduma?
