Who has a good setting for BO7 on PC please ?

I'd expect at the start, as it always happens that connection might need a little while to stabilize, they'll have very high player numbers and load on the servers currently. What's your average ping in game/on the Geo-Filter?

My ping is 9ms so it’s very good but my feeling during the game is horrible 😅

Try forcing servers slightly further away, even though they'll have a higher ping they may feel more stable for you

so I was trying to force South African servers by drawing the triangle coverage on them but it doesn’t seem to connect there? It won’t put me in any game. Is there a way around this?

Do this:

1. Quit the application/game/client completely - including the game client from the System Tray - important!
2. Remove device from the Geo-Filter
3. If you're on PC then give it the PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager
4. Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu
5. Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter
6. Set up the Geo-Filter how you like
7. Wait 2 minutes
8. Boot up application/game/client

To force servers you need to do the following:

It's essential the Geo-Filter is enabled before the game client (e.g. Steam etc) if on PC or platform (e.g. Xbox, PlayStation) or the game have been launched. If you change Geo-Filter settings when you're on the game then you will need to restart the game for those changes to take effect, otherwise it will use the previous Geo-Filter settings and appear not to be working.

For settings ensure Ping Assist and Geo-Latency are disabled in the Geo-Filter menu that can be found by clicking ⋮ or  in the top right hand corner of the page and go to Settings.

Strict Mode should also be enabled, it is enabled by default so if you haven't disabled it you can ignore it. If you have disabled it or want to check it can be found in the same Settings menu as above or in Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced > Developer Options depending on your firmware/router version. Fast Search should also be disabled which it is by default so can be ignored if you haven't changed it, otherwise this can be found in the same place.

so the servers only pop up once I’m in game so should I log Into the game , draw the polygon around the servers and then restart the game? That should be fine right? 
 

side question: on cod, I see largely two types of icons- one that resembles a cpu so I’m guessing that’s a server. What does the silhouette of a person mean? Peer to peer?

i live in the caribbean my closest server is miami 45ms which is unplayable ..i force the west coast servers which is 90 to 120 ms which is playable 🤣..any other setting doesnt matter ...force further servers if you wanna enjoy this games 🤣

yes it is go on custom in geofilter then country united states then select the west coast..which part you from im from trinidad

its not 100% perfect but way better ..im going to put my vpn on the west coast and fence it and try

@Trinibad I live in the Bahamas ! For BO6 the Miami servers were good but for BO7 it’s horrible 🤦🏻‍♂️

If you're not sure where the servers are (though you could use Ping Heatmap) then yes you can do it that way around but make sure to follow the whole process I mentioned again. 

Yes that would be peer to peer but it could also mean a server we are just not aware of

expressvpn has a server in trinidad so i connect to that which gives me 100 ping to miami servers and im using steady ping now my game is perfect ..🙂
