On my Ping Heat Map the router sees the ATL server, but when searching for a match the ATL server is not seen. Also, the middle server always available regardless of the settings.

We're working on some cloud updates currently specifically for BF6 so this will be improved upon and should be more accurate overall. Once done they'll be pushed to your router automatically, you don't have to do anything

no still cant get the atl server

If they're taking the above from the IP used for Heatmap that's just to ensure more long term reliability of Heatmap showing servers, it's not the specific server but represents where there is an available server for the game and your approximate ping to it.

Based on your screenshots you actually have filtering disabled which would indicate the reason you're unable to force that server.

Do this and it will likely work better

  1. Quit the application/game/client completely - including the game client from the System Tray - important!
  2. Remove device from the Geo-Filter
  3. If you're on PC then give it the PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager
  4. Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu
  5. Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter
  6. Set up the Geo-Filter how you like
  7. Wait 2 minutes
  8. Boot up application/game/clientIt's essential the Geo-Filter is enabled before the game client or the game have been launched. If you change Geo-Filter settings when you're on the game then you will need to restart the game for those changes to take effect, otherwise it will use the previous Geo-Filter settings and appear not to be working.

To force servers you need to do the following:

For settings ensure Ping Assist and Geo-Latency are disabled in the Geo-Filter menu that can be found by clicking ⋮ in the top right hand corner of the page and go to Settings.

Strict Mode should also be enabled, it is enabled by default so if you haven't disabled it you can ignore it. If you have disabled it or want to check it can be found in the same Settings menu as above or in Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced > Developer Options depending on your firmware version. Fast Search should also be disabled which it is by default so can be ignored if you haven't changed it, otherwise this can be found in the same place.

still doesn't work i cant lock east coast servers at all it always gives me oklahoma city i can lock west coast but im east

If it helps,

the game points to the old EA servers before the migration to AWS servers, which leads to false leads. It will take longer than expected to geolocate all the servers. And that's assuming it even manages to connect to regions other than the client's (NA, APAC, EU, etc.).

We should have resolved that with a cloud update, did you follow all those steps above?

That's interesting, kind of acting like a relay then allowing servers outside potentially

What platform are you on? Can you provide some IDs of the Oklahoma servers you're getting please?

This not likely the same mislocated servers just like cod? There's a huge clump that aren't Oklahoma that continually appear to be there.

They could be and we did correct them in the latest cloud so if they're still there more may have changed that we need to address. Any IDs you can provide will be super helpful

I'm not using dums with bf right now as when I search for a game it finds one but leaves me in the joining animation without putting me in a game. So with any filtering I actually can't join a game.

Ps5 for what it's worth.
