howley6 Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Hi Fraser, Getting a looking for host issue on Xbox. I haven't changed any settings. The game works with zombies and warzone but won't let me join a match in Bo6. I have expended by geo filter but doesn't allow me to connect to a game.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 18 Administrators Posted October 18 Are you seeing anything blocked on the map when this happens? With the Geo-Filter disabled is it working?
howley6 Posted October 19 Author Posted October 19 Hi Fraser, Nothing blocked, I have disabled Geofilter and still trying to find host etc.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 19 Administrators Posted October 19 Do you get the issue if you directly connect to your ISP modem/router?
howley6 Posted October 22 Author Posted October 22 Hi Fraser, Yes works directly with ISP and has worked with Geo filter off but is now not working again.
iOrcus Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Im having the same issues. The game takes longer to find me a game. Idk whats going on
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 23 Administrators Posted October 23 Without the Geo-Filter being enabled there isn't really anything inhibiting the search, is this with the device completely deleted from the Geo-Filter it still happens?
howley6 Posted October 23 Author Posted October 23 Yes. I am unable to ping servers in game. It just keeps looking for host. I am able to ping servers by game but then Geofilter on and off it won't ping a server when searching for a game.

howley6 Posted October 23 Author Posted October 23 Joining matches is the issue. I am in now it seems but it is inconsistent. Sometimes it's long and I give up sometimes maybe 1-2 minutes.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 23 Administrators Posted October 23 Do you have an Open NAT? Have you made any port forwarding rules or internet rules on the R3?
howley6 Posted October 26 Author Posted October 26 Hi Fraser, Yes I have open Nat. I had the device in DMZ and no other ports forwarded. It was all working yesterday. Geo filter pinging servers but not doing it today.

Is the issue with being able to connect resolved now and your issue just not being able to ping?
howley6 Posted October 26 Author Posted October 26 Hi Fraser, It pings servers sometimes, not all the time and it's connecting to match. Just searching and the R3 says waiting for host.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 26 Administrators Posted October 26 What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? How is the Xbox connected, via ethernet or WiFi and do you get the issue on both?
