th3boywond3r Posted August 1 Posted August 1 hello i having some issues with my netduma r3 ping when i first got the r3 and set everything up when i search for a match on call of duty black ops 6/warzone my ping was always low between 17-21 and now all of a sudden when i start the search for a game my ping is 38-45 and sometimes 50
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 1 Administrators Posted August 1 What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How is your PC connected, via ethernet or WiFi? How have you setup the Geo-Filter?
th3boywond3r Posted August 1 Author Posted August 1 1. its a Modem only and its a ARRIS (S33) - Cable Modem 2. only my gaming pc and my Verizon device 3. my speeds are 1gb down and 35 up 4. i did a speed test with the r3 and it put my speeds at 903.0 mbps down and 36.0 mbps up 5. its on auto 6. ethernet only 7. yes
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 1 Administrators Posted August 1 Congestion Control is on Auto at what percentages precisely? How specifically has the Geo-Filter been set?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 1 Administrators Posted August 1 At 94% it's not going to be very effective. Try 70% for both and experiment from there. Do this for Geo-Filter: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client It'll work better then
th3boywond3r Posted August 1 Author Posted August 1 ok when i set my gaming pc to a playstation device type this happens and i cant connect to cod at all
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 1 Administrators Posted August 1 Did you follow all the steps through? Can you provide a new screenshot of your Geo-Filter page please?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 2 Administrators Posted August 2 Use the radius instead of the custom filter and also remove your denied server just in case its a necessary server for online play and try again please
th3boywond3r Posted August 4 Author Posted August 4 ok it worked thanks.... also is there a beta for the r3?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 8 Administrators Posted August 8 Where are you measuring/seeing the packet loss and what percentage is it? Are you still using the previous settings we mentioned?
th3boywond3r Posted August 9 Author Posted August 9 nothing has change since you told me what to do after you helped me a couple of days after i started getting packet lost and lag and jitter.. I'm so confused
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 9 Administrators Posted August 9 Where are you measuring/seeing the packet loss and what percentage is it?
th3boywond3r Posted August 9 Author Posted August 9 i didn't measure anything every time it pops up on the game I'm skipping aka jittering all over the map
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 9 Administrators Posted August 9 What are the values it's showing for packet loss/jitter? Have any new devices been added? Are more devices being used at the time?
th3boywond3r Posted August 9 Author Posted August 9 nothing has change i have a dedicated line only for my gaming pc
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 9 Administrators Posted August 9 Does it happen if you connect direct to the modem?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 10 Administrators Posted August 10 Great to hear that, what was the solution?
