Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 5, 2025 Administrators Posted August 5, 2025 Okay don't change the IP of the router this time and lets see if its more stable. It's likely there is an extension you have enabled on Edge that is blocking it as extensions don't run by default in incognito mode.
BlackBoXBoSS Posted August 5, 2025 Author Posted August 5, 2025 I do not have any extensions installed and I can not change router IP address to default because I have camera system that needs specific IP.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 5, 2025 Administrators Posted August 5, 2025 What's the specific IP address/range it needs to use?
BlackBoXBoSS Posted August 5, 2025 Author Posted August 5, 2025 10.0.0.100 to 10.0.0.250 Router IP is 10.0.0.1
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 5, 2025 Administrators Posted August 5, 2025 Is that because you have local devices accessing it setup to use an IP in that range and it would be a pain to reconfig them to use the default IP? Presumably you came from the XR with that IP set? If so that would indicate though that you have/had an ISP modem/router as it only uses 10.0.0.1 to prevent conflict with an upstream router using 192.168.1.1
BlackBoXBoSS Posted August 6, 2025 Author Posted August 6, 2025 Got this error again. Logs attached. R3_2025-08-06T11_40_54.388Z_logs.txt
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 7, 2025 Administrators Posted August 7, 2025 Looks like there is an issue with the device connected in LAN port 2, which device is that? Do you continue to get the error with that unplugged after a reboot?
BlackBoXBoSS Posted August 7, 2025 Author Posted August 7, 2025 LAN port 2 is connected to a TP-Link switch.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 7, 2025 Administrators Posted August 7, 2025 Unplug that and see if you get the same issues please
BlackBoXBoSS Posted August 7, 2025 Author Posted August 7, 2025 I do not have the issue right now but if it comes back I will try that. Netduma Fraser 1
BlackBoXBoSS Posted August 7, 2025 Author Posted August 7, 2025 Ok so I disconnected LAN port 2 and now I get failed to load minimum components error again.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 7, 2025 Administrators Posted August 7, 2025 If that's after a reboot grab the logs again please, if not then reboot and grab the logs when it happens again please
BlackBoXBoSS Posted August 7, 2025 Author Posted August 7, 2025 It happened again, logs attached. R3_2025-08-07T21_20_21.797Z_logs.txt
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 7, 2025 Administrators Posted August 7, 2025 Okay thank you, I've passed it on to a dev to have a look
BlackBoXBoSS Posted October 15, 2025 Author Posted October 15, 2025 Any update? I still can not access the interface.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 16, 2025 Administrators Posted October 16, 2025 They've asked if the R3 is handling PPPoE or VLAN or DHCP identifiers at all?
BlackBoXBoSS Posted October 16, 2025 Author Posted October 16, 2025 I do not understand what that means exactly, but R3 has DHCP enabled.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 20, 2025 Administrators Posted October 20, 2025 That's good thank you, they've asked if you could change the router back to the default IP address (192.168.1.1) to see if you experience the same issues please
BlackBoXBoSS Posted October 20, 2025 Author Posted October 20, 2025 I changed to 192.168.1.1 (I thought the default for R3 was 192.168.77.1) and it still happens (failed to load minimum components).

My apologies, yes if you could change it to 192.168.77.1, give it a reboot from the interface, close the interface then wait 4 minutes before accessing again please
BlackBoXBoSS Posted October 21, 2025 Author Posted October 21, 2025 I changed to 192.168.77.1, but problem is still there.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 21, 2025 Administrators Posted October 21, 2025 Get to the recovery options again and enable remote access and follow these instructions: If your ISP modem/router has WiFi, set it up so that it is in bridge or modem mode, you can also use the DMZ. Copy the WAN IP from the R3 (found in Settings > WAN) and enter it into the DMZ function on the ISP modem/router. Disable IPv6 in LAN/WAN on the R3 and enable remote support in Settings > Troubleshooting. Then post back here from a device connected to the R3 when you've done that and we'll attempt to connect. I'll see if I can get a dev to connect and see what may be happening.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 21, 2025 Administrators Posted October 21, 2025 Thank you, I'll have them comment when/if they have managed to take a look
