Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 19 Administrators Posted July 19 What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Does the WAN Settings page show the router is getting internet?
Finkler Posted July 20 Author Posted July 20 Everything is connected to the r3 and the router has worked for me before it is just I unplugged my r3 and put it in the box but when I put it back out the box and used it there is no internet
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 20 Administrators Posted July 20 What is the modem/router the R3 is connected to to get internet? Reboot your modem, wait 2 minutes then reboot the R3, wait 4 minutes then check again
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 21 Administrators Posted July 21 What is the modem/router the R3 is connected to to get internet? Can you provide pictures of the back of the R3 how it's connected and the back of your modem how its connected please?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 21 Administrators Posted July 21 If you check the Sagemcom router interface does it show the R3 as a connected device? Could you get the log from the R3 Settings > Troubleshooting page please?
Finkler Posted July 21 Author Posted July 21 I can’t get the logs because I factory reset the router. Also it doesn’t show that it’s connected through Ethernet on the modem Home Screen.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 21 Administrators Posted July 21 Click Advanced WAN Settings on the No Internet Setup Wizard page then skip and continue until you get to the interface. Then do the reboot method I mentioned previously. If it continues then check what the modem says and get the R3 logs please.
Finkler Posted July 21 Author Posted July 21 Still no connection but here’s the logs. R3_2025-07-21T15:08:11.303Z_logs.txt
Finkler Posted July 21 Author Posted July 21 Also here’s what the router page says even though it works when the Duma isn’t plugged in.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 21 Administrators Posted July 21 Thanks, could you switch the cable connected the R3 to the modem with a different cable please and then do the reboot process and check
Finkler Posted July 21 Author Posted July 21 The problem is I actually can’t because the cable is going across my house and I don’t have another cable of that length.
Finkler Posted July 21 Author Posted July 21 The cable has worked in the past and it works when I use it with my Ethernet switch. The only problem I have is when I try to use the cable with the Duma.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 21 Administrators Posted July 21 Instead of putting it in port 1, try it in each of the other ports then check just in case that prompts a connection
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 21 Administrators Posted July 21 I've given you Early Access, please upgrade to that and then check again, if that doesn't work then a factory reset and check again please https://forum.netduma.com/topic/58424-new-r3-firmware-dumaos-40645/
Finkler Posted July 21 Author Posted July 21 Yh that doesn’t work and neither does the factory reset cause I already tried it earlier today. By the way I appreacite all your help so far I know it’s a long issue😂
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 21 Administrators Posted July 21 It's specifically a factory reset on that firmware version to rule out any remnants from the previous version impacting it. Honestly it doesn't make any sense at all. Could you move it closer to try another cable at all just temporarily? Do you require PPPoE/VLAN/DHCP identifiers for a connection?
