J3Ss Posted June 25 Posted June 25 What helped me was to manually set the ping optimizer to 93% for download and upload. Turned off Steady Ping and set my gaming console to DMZ.

E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup SmartBOOST? How is the PS5 connected, via ethernet or WiFi? How have you setup the Geo-Filter?

How have you setup the Geo-Filter? 1-the modem/router the R3 is connected to a Netgear Cm 1100 cable Modem 2-Only My PC and PS5 are connected to the R3 3-500Mbs download and 50mbs upload but I get 570mbs and 50mbs 4- I do not know what setup Congestion Control you are referring to? 5-I have set up SmartBOOST 6-IPS5 is connected, via ethernet. 7-Geo-filter is off as it does not do anything, it still sends me to what ever server it chooses, and it does not connect me to game after a match.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 18 Administrators Posted July 18 Congestion Control can be found in Ping Optimizer > Advanced and is one of the main features used to combat bufferbloat/lag - has this been setup? (If you have run Ping Optimizer it would have changed the settings here) If so, what values is it using for download/upload? How have you setup SmartBOOST exactly? Re-enable the Geo-Filter, ensure Geo-Latency and Ping Assist are disabled, then start the game and see if it works.
