Seomos17
Hello, just recently purchased the XR1000V2 and I instantly recognized a problem with the QOS when I had finished setting things up. I'm not a techy guy when it comes to the router, my ISP is EE, and the XR1000 is connected directly to the ONT, connected pppoe. When setting limits for upload and download speed. download speed is limited just fine, but upload speed doesn't get limited at all I've tried a range of things from resetting the router to manually installing updates. Can someone help me?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 29 Administrators Share Posted May 29 It'll be due to PPPoE which is an issue we are aware of. Have the upstream modem/router/ONT handle PPPoE instead if possible so the XR just does DHCP and it will work
Seomos17
I should feed the XR into the EE router which is fed into ONT? if this is what u mean how will geo filter work if its not handling the routing but rather the EE?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 29 Administrators Share Posted May 29 PPPoE is basically just you logging in to the internet so as long as either your ONT or the EE router, whatever has the capability to do so is handling it and you remove the PPPoE details from the XR then it will work fine. Just make sure to have all devices connected to the XR still.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 6 Administrators Share Posted June 6 Check the Network monitor when it happens, is there any other device using a significant amount of bandwidth?
Seomos17
no there isnt. the router is now fully bugged qos works but geo filter doesnt work or traffic prioritization, most games do not show up on the duma classified games. restarted router after this now i cant get into dumo OS at all. i did put the xr on static ip on the ee router and also enabled DMZ on the ee router for XR. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 7 Administrators Share Posted June 7 This error is usually due to the browser forcing a connection to the interface via HTTPS rather than HTTP (e.g. Chrome, Safari etc), so using a different browser/disabling force HTTPS/adding an exception for the interface should resolve it. Otherwise a browser based Adblocker can cause it. What do you mean most games don't show up on classified games exactly? How have you added your device to the Geo-Filter, can you provide a screenshot?
