Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 29, 2025 Administrators Posted May 29, 2025 Is this after a reboot? Are you accessing the interface via HTTPS rather than HTTP? Do you have a browser based Adblocker enabled, if so disable and try again please.
Jessicadavisonn Posted May 29, 2025 Author Posted May 29, 2025 yes after reboot no ad blocker and I am just typing in 192.168.77.7 to access the interface
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 29, 2025 Administrators Posted May 29, 2025 Download the firmware to your phone, then try upgrading via the DumaOS app please
Jessicadavisonn Posted May 29, 2025 Author Posted May 29, 2025 I have tried and tried in incognito mode on pc it is like it starts to update then just can’t and gets stuck for long time and doesn’t do anything then when I try access interface this happens and nothing works until I unplug it again no matter how long I leave it
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 29, 2025 Administrators Posted May 29, 2025 I'll have to check with the team to see if they can force an upgrade through for you, to save time if you could make yourself accessible that'd be helpful: If your ISP modem/router has WiFi, set it up so that it is in bridge or modem mode, you can also use the DMZ. Copy the WAN IP from the R2 (found in System Information) and enter it into the DMZ function on the ISP modem/router. Disable IPv6 in LAN/WAN on the R2 and enable remote support in Settings. Then post back here from a device connected to the R2 when you've done that and we'll attempt to connect.
Fairypusher Posted June 1, 2025 Posted June 1, 2025 I have a Bug after Update. I connect the WAN from R2 to Lan1 from my Router with Internet. After this the Setup from R2 found Internet and run DumaOS. After that i can use PPPOE, PPPOE dont work right for me with Setup. DumaOS dont start. If your Dumaos dont start. Now you can read the log. 192.168.77.1/adv_index.htm I use Static IP

Jessicadavisonn Posted yesterday at 05:41 PM Author Posted yesterday at 05:41 PM I've only just got round to doing this now, tried to update and still won't is there anychance of someone forcing the update for me with remote access at all if I can enable this?

Factory reset then try to upgrade again please as soon as you can access the interface. If it doesn't work please follow my previous instructions about making your router accessible and then I can see if a colleague can push it through for you.
Jessicadavisonn Posted 22 hours ago Author Posted 22 hours ago ive enabled remote access can you please help as nothing else has worked. thanks and i cant reboot as all settings reset

They are important, I can't ping you so it's likely they've not been done which means they won't be able to access to force the upgrade. Sounds like you're rebooting by unplugging the router which can cause it to lose settings if you haven't rebooted via the interface at all (that acts as a hard save). Factory reset from the interface though, then try to upgrade.
Jessicadavisonn Posted 21 hours ago Author Posted 21 hours ago ive just done factory reset from interface, I also did do other steps (when i click factory reset it seems to not do much just refresh the dashboard.)
Jessicadavisonn Posted 21 hours ago Author Posted 21 hours ago when i factory reset then do the upgrade i cant no longer access the interface and it stays stuck
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted 21 hours ago Administrators Posted 21 hours ago Factory reset again, close the interface then wait 4 minutes before trying to access and you should be able to access fine. I still can't ping you but I'll let them know, maybe they can access, will let you know when I've heard back, likely a few days
Jessicadavisonn Posted 20 hours ago Author Posted 20 hours ago can you reply when you've heard back and they can try force an update because im going to leave it till then as ive tried multiple times and im going to use my regular router till then. thanks Netduma Fraser 1
