Geo filter

Recommended Posts

When I enable the geofilter feature and add my Xbox One, the NAT type becomes: Unavailable.
I can see the server for the game I want, but the data transfer rate is low and appears red through the QoS service.
When I turn this feature off and remove my device, the NAT becomes open.
How can I make it work and the NAT is open? Please.
What is the solution?

Your NAT will be open, the Geo-Filter is just blocking the server it uses to check the NAT status. You can check the map when this happens to see if anything is blocked then allow it or otherwise ignore it.

I'm not sure what you mean by this: "I can see the server for the game I want, but the data transfer rate is low and appears red through the QoS service." can you clarify please?

The NAT remains unavailable even if I select the server.
Through testing on the Xbox Network, the data shows me that the NAT is unavailable.
I'm watching the server, yes, and it's blocking servers, yes.
But during testing, it shows me that the NAT is unavailable and that the latency is 255.
Even the performance isn't good.
By the way, why is the Netgear XR 1000's performance excellent and smooth in the first EA FC 25 match, but then it deteriorates as it continues?

Sorry for changing the subject

Data transfer rate, which means priority when selecting priority devices, such as the Xbox game console. The red dots consumed (kilobytes), etc., become less when geofiltering is enabled and when NAT is unavailable. This means data transfer that has priority. Any tips or help to make my device run smoothly?
Especially since I only play EA FC 25.

Thank you.

There is likely more than one server responsible in the same location, you may need to allow a few of them but as mentioned, you will have an Open NAT - the latency showing is for the same reason, you're blocking the server its checking the ping to, it doesn't mean you'll have that ping to games. When you play you have a much lower ping than that right? What is the ping you're getting in game?

Are you referring to Traffic Prioritization? It will appear red when prioritizing the game/when you're in the game playing that's all.

I don't know, but I find some lag when I play more than one match, even though my internet connection is excellent. I thought it was the NAT type, I don't know.

My ping is around 30 while playing.

Can you please give me the steps to switch from one server to another?
Because I try a lot, and among the attempts, I might succeed once, but many times I don't

Does the ping fluctuate or is it quite stable? Move your home location/radius to cover the server you want to play on but excluding all others, restart the game then search.

What is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the XR? E.g XR in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode

Are ALL devices connected to the XR?

What are the speeds you pay for/receive?

Have you entered those speeds into the router?

How have you setup QoS?

How is the Xbox connected, via ethernet or WiFi?
