zeeymg Posted April 8 Posted April 8 I am turning on Geo-filter but I am still being connected to games outside of my specified zone. Additionaly, when it puts me into a game it does not show any of the servers or other icons on the map.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 8 Administrators Posted April 8 How have you added your device to the Geo-Filter exactly? What is the model of the modem/router the R2 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R2? E.g R2 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode What platform are you playing on and how is it connected, via ethernet or WiFi?
zeeymg Posted April 8 Author Posted April 8 @Netduma Fraser i went to device manager --> selected my computer --> named it --> in geo-filter I added that device. My modem is a B20T and I have tried connecting it via wifi and ethernet. I'm on my PC. I reset the device selected in geo-filter and now I am just stuck searching for a game
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 10 Administrators Posted April 10 Do this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client It should work better then
zeeymg Posted April 10 Author Posted April 10 @Netduma Fraser Still does not work. Just stuck searching for a game
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 10 Administrators Posted April 10 Are you seeing any servers blocked outside your radius when this happens?
