Greyfox981
Good morning, I just bought the router in question but I have a question for you regarding the connection. Let me explain: I have a fttc 100 with the fritzbox 7530 modem router from the ISP. I set the modem/router in ppoe passthrough mode and an ASUS gt-ax6000 is connected to it which manages the mesh network. The netduma would be used exclusively on the gaming PC. Should I connect it in parallel or in cascade to the Asus to make it work best?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 17 Administrators Share Posted March 17 You'd purely be using it for the Geo-Filter in that configuration. You would have to have it connected to the Asus as you're using the passthrough mode, then put the R3 in the DMZ on the Asus to ensure an Open NAT when playing. Greyfox981
Alternatively, I would have the possibility to cascade the Asus to the netduma. In this case it would be better to have the maximum Gaming features?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 17 Administrators Share Posted March 17 In order for you to get the full benefit, ALL devices should be connected to the R3 so modem in passthrough > R3 > everything else
