Anyone got an EE SMART HUB and can get Open Nat Type help me please ?

Hi guys,

 

previously had open nat type and for some reason i can no longer get it,have played around with settings and still cant,i had this issue before and fixed it by creating a static ip but cannot find the link i used before to do that now,can anyone help an old timer out please.

Copy the WAN IP from the R3 WAN Settings page and enter it into the DMZ on the Smart hub. Then on the smart hub find the static/reserved IP section (likely in LAN or DHCP settings) and set the same IP you copied as static/reserved.

Hi Fraser,

Thanks for the reply,having difficulty locating that in the hub,cannot see any option in the EE hub.

Any pointers where to look

DMZ could be in internet. Reserved/Static IP may be in the address table tab on your last screenshot. Otherwise consult the hub manual and it should direct you

Upto now I’ve put the Netduma r3 wan ip into the EE smart hub and added these ports to the ee hub and Netduma I’m not even sure if that is correct,it was so easy to set up with Bt smart hub but this is a different animal and I’m not so good with computers

Sorry i didnt realise the time,and its a Sunday,can we continue convo tomorrow and walk me through step by step,i had it woekin before but only with a static ip that i did in an ipconfig following a guide but i cannot find that now so have no clue how to do it.

What does the configuration tab show for Firewall? Were you able to set the reserved IP then?

No worries, if I'm responding then I'm working so you don't need to save troubleshooting for a specific time
